*Checks out site* 30 active members? *checks member list* Well, closer to 40 now it seems. Decent size shield wall you've got there yourself. Seems the most active at 79 posts is Maj. Dash, probably your Acting commander? I'll see if I can poke my lance leader with a stick sharp enough to get him to begin diplomacy checks. We could always use another ally in Star Citizen. More troops to muster when wars are waged.
Maj. Dash is acting 2nd Officer and he handles the website stuff, Horus is our Captain. So in diplomacy side you can contact me or Horus. Btw. what's your current tally on SC pilots? And I agree very much on the matter that allies will be most likely needed when the do-gooder's come to lawless space and try to interrupt business..

Hi guys, nice website. Seems our diplomat fell through the map in MWO. I'm sure our dark side brothers will be looking for relations of some type. We have several hundred ships, but not sure which side of 100 pilots we have. Not sure how many will play the pirate role but I'd imagine about half of us.
Officially we aren't doing any alliances in Star Citizen until much closer to launch, two years out is too much for us to try and plan for at this point. That said, we are definitely intending on working with, and getting to know, other groups before launch. (Your post has us jump started a bit working on trying to figure it out but we have no idea exactly how we plan on doing it yet) As I'm sure you have seen on our recruiting thread and around this forum we are not known as being the most organized group, and a bit proud of it. I wish I could tell you who our minister of disinformation/pr spin master/liaison officer will be but most of the leadership is currently swamped with work and haven't been able to sit down and plan out how we are going to be handling liaison work. As far as what we are planning on doing in game, well a bit of everything probably, officially we are not pirates nor are we police or merchants, we are all of the above, we are a marauding, jolly, inebriated band of gypsy space vikings that generally do whatever we feel like. Our posting on the forum has us as a mixture of alignments but I suspect we are more on the chaotic side of things. For size and number of players in any one field, we have no clue, we are totally winging this as we go still. Our current published fleet numbers are at 171 ships, the numbers need updating after the latest round of ship purchases in the last month, for pilots we don't keep track of it but we are a bit over 70 that I know of.
Indeed the game is still far away, 14 months till beta is a long time. Like you we are a guild where members are free to play as they like. I'm sure you understand that even if you only have 10 people in your guild who will go pirate trade ships, lets say imperial fleet who say they have 2000 members with 800 pilots, eventually you will become a target. Agreements between other guilds to attack pirates have already been made. How serious those will be.. well can't tell you that. But having 1 or 2 good guilds next to you helping out each other will be pretty important after Beta comes out. And even if your not only pirates, I think that only makes it more interesting and maybe more profitable. We have more then 55+ members at the moment with 100+ ships. We grow well with new members every week. I understand you need some time, and we still have a lot of it so no problems there. Just know Vikings is interested and Rosemua and myself well check out your forum from time to time. We hope to talk again soon
Sounds good to me. I'm not the official word on this but the impression I got from previous talks was that we wanted to put the "do what you want" part back into "do what you want 'cause a pirate is free" bit. Personally, I spent way too much time in EVE defending territory for no good goddamn reason. I would emphasize what MH said: "we are a marauding, jolly, inebriated band of gypsy space vikings that generally do whatever we feel like." If we can roam about without overbearing concerns of holding physical territory, I will be quite happy. It makes you next to impossible to pin down during a serious confrontation. Again, not the official word... just the general impression I got from previous conversations.
