    Dec 25 41,

Xmas gifts for everyone, even the IJA/N. Sub off of the Canadian coast got one of the patroling KV's with 2 torps.

At Sinyang my stubborn defenders are finally routed out of the city, but inflicting another 4k losses on the enemy in addition to the 8k from the previous weeks of combat.

At the combat in the mountainous north near Taiyuan my blocking force is pushed back with the casualties 380/2300 their favor.

Over in Chuhsien another shock attack went in for another disastrously bad result for the IJA 4415/42. How they can keep this up is beyond me.

Surprisingly at Clark the IJA made a foolish deliberate attack with only their advanced armor formations and suffered for it. Veh (27 Des, 44 disabled)

And the capstone miracle, HMS Warspite in Seattle is ready for action two weeks ahead of schedule. USS Colorado is 4 days behind, after they are ready to depart my newest arrival DD's will be in the area to escort them south to the harbors in Cali.

Nah, the images you grabbed are great! I'd say just one image every other turn or so would probably be good enough going forward.

    26 Dec 41,

Today was pretty quiet with a couple exceptions.

Again in southern China the IJA impaled itself on Chuhsein, but did bring forta down to lvl 1, 2 of 3 IJA divisions are at 0 combat power. The 14th and 22nd. The fresh engineers they put into this attack suffered horrendously, 29 deatroyed/23disabled engineers within 1200 casualties, inflicting only 13 today, all disabled support squads.

There is a light CV group that has appeared dangerously near Balki and launched raids on my suicide cargo ships trying to reach Bataan. Going to sortie a few of my cruisers nearby and see if I can intercept.

Got another few merchants into Singapore bringing the total new supply over 100k. My troop task force from Africa stopped right off shore after spending much of the morning steaming in circles due to air threats.

Another CV is about to arrive with an AO, bringing my fast AO force to 3. Going to be four months or about until I get the next one.

Some of my US divisions started preparing for rail movement to either San Fran or the East coast for deployment to Aus/India.

My 41st is going to prepare for a Wake island retaking in about a year after she has trained up.

Flying tigers tried to intercept IJAF bombers in Southern China but sadly the weather prevented their flying. Would have been nearly 70 unescorted bombers to prey on.

    27-31 Dec 41,

Some eventful things happened. CLV Ryjuho was found and engaged by two task forces lead by British CL's damaging her escorts including CA Nachi. Then CA Australia and friends found her at daylight, hit her 8 times (6 with 8in, 2 with 5in if the battle replay is to be believed) leaving heavy damage and heavy fires. This all happened on the 28th. I haven't seen her on the sunk list however, and my victory points never jumped up like they should have, likely survived so far.

On the 31st another CV appeared with reported BB escort, near by Balki again. Going to try for a Night intercept with what isn't damaged from previous fights.

Speaking of damaged on the 28th I diverted CA Houston back to Soerabaja, in order to pick up the CA's and DD's damaged by the CVL's airgroups prior to the surface encounter.

In China the IJA continues their suicidal attacks on Chuhsien, 2800/45, 4100/112, 1180/85, 2100/119. Nearly every casualty on my side has been disablement, however the IJA had three 180+ AV strong divisions present. They now show up in the combat list as 8,9,7 and still are launching Shock attacks. They inflicted on themselves the last two attacks more than 300 destroyed combat squads. If it weren't for the armored Car Bn and an Armor Bn present in the area I would counter attack.

I am trying to get more Aviation support to Kunming, as the 16th Base Force isn't able to keep them all working long enough to leave. I have moved the Aviation support to Hengyang preparing for them to leap forward and ambush the 100+ light bomber sized formations running around in central China.

More units have arrived at Clark, but the artillery bombardments have been giving me 200+ casualties and at least 4 vehicles destroyed each day. I don't know what the Allies packed into those formations that are so damn good but I'm glad I have em and I want more. Repulse and PoW are underway with CVL Hermes and Singapore airfield providing LR Cap. They claimed over 2 dozen light bombers and half a dozen G3/G4. Their escorts are 8 DD's and hope. But with a BB formation sighted near Soebi-besar moving at 19knots and going West, Likely the AI is about to land on Sumatra cutting my options of how to extract these two heavies and I cant wait for their serious system damage to be repaired. Each are able to make 19+knots so they can make good if sedate time heading first to Ceylon, then Cape Town.

CV Yorktown has arrived, the new DD's are still off map with another two travel days, so BB's Warspite and Colorado are waiting in Seattle for them, then all three will head to PH. Those DD's will then turn around and try to escort damaged vessels from PH to Cali/Wash for the larger repair facilities. Starting to work on an upgrade rotation so not all of my ships will be in dock at the same time.

Also taking a risky route to put cargo ships back into the SEA and siphon out as much supply and Fuel as I can from areas that aren't directly impacted by the IJN/IJA so far. Hopefully I don't lose any of them after the initial stampede was so successful. Speaking of, snuck another few xAK into Singapore and dumped another 10k supply in there, but Bataan has received its last small cargo ship on the 29th. Bringing the total pushed in to another 19k beyond the native amount.

Sorry all, been preoccupied for moving across the country and figuring out how the hell to do that. Still choosing a place to stay once we get there as well. When we have moved the war will resume. The 14th is the last date we will arrive there. Moving to Charlottesville VA.
