Time for the BOOM-sticks: My Boar Prime build: http://warframe-builder.com/Primary...175-6-191-7-170-6-264-7-190-9-167-9/en/2-0-30 My Drakgoon build: http://warframe-builder.com/Primary...175-6-191-7-170-6-264-7-190-9-167-9/en/2-0-36 The Boar has the clear advantage of double the magazine capacity and almost double the fire rate (overall 50% more dps), but the Drakgoon deals roughly 30% more damage per "shot" and gets natural punch-through that is sure to shred hordes of enemies. However, while the Drakgoon has a decent chance to inflict status effects, the Boar Prime is the clear proc master. Which do you guys prefer? P.S. The Strun Wraith deserves an honorable mention. Of the two above, it behaves more similarly to the Boar Prime. I chose not to include it though, because like all Wraith weapons, it is nearly impossible to obtain now. With the same mods as listed above, the one major difference it has with the Boar Prime is that it trades roughly 1/3 the DPS for a tighter bullet spread. For this reason, some might prefer this more "surgical" shotgun over the more indiscriminate Boar Prime.
I wanted to see what I could do for sustained DPS and this is what I came up with: https://goo.gl/ym6ghQ I chose to use Seeking Fury, because in crowded rooms it makes the Boar a great street sweeper. I'm curious to see if anyone can top this (must include Seeking Fury) with another higher capacity shotguns out there (Tigris is good, but doesn't really fit the same profile).
https://goo.gl/qHN8LS I prefer Seeking Fury simply because punch through is a force multiplier, sure you can do more individual damage with a different mod, but with punch through you can do damage to more than one guy at a time with the same shot. My personal build contains a riven mod so it's slightly different ^.^
Agreed. All of my Shotgun builds use Seeking Fury (it's better than Seeking Force too). And yeah, it is a great force multiplier.
