The Gammacor has a clear advantage in terms of raw DPS, but it has significantly shorter range compared to the Marelok. If you need a pocket sniper, the Marelok is hard to beat (especially if you like getting head shots). If you need a spammier short range backup weapon, the Gammacor is very lethal. NOTE: The above builds include Primed Pistol Gambit and Primed Target Cracker, but are certainly not required for the weapons to perform well.
