I had no idea we had a WoT section. I might be able to put some work into this thread. I got some good Medium-tank experience in and out of Clan Wars and am pretty versed in the game mechanics.
Seems they're planning a whole trio on this concept. Next in the series is of airplanes, later on the same with ships, and then apparently planning to eventually combine it all into one large fiasco. The warplanes one is in beta, but it's easy to get into. http://worldofwarplanes.com/
Oh.................we have an "Official WoT" thingy? (Good grief I sound like my wife.......everything is a thingy thing.) Are we at all active in this? Do we have a regular group, (I'm thinking not). Well, if any one wants to hook up and run some platoons let me know. For the record: I have mostly German tanks (75 - 80% ) no Arty. USSR Heavy tank tree up to tier 8. No arty. USA Heavy, Medium up to Tier 7 & Tier 8. My name is Ironfang on WoT. Let me know if anyone wants to get together and do platoons or anything. The one thing to know about heavy tanks. Learn to squiggle a lot. Especially heavy, slow tanks in a fire fight. The Tiger tank is unmerciful if you do not do this. The Tiger tank is a harsh task mistress, it WILL teach you to tank..........or die.
We had a decent following and even made our own clan, but most of us stopped playing. (At least among the NA crowd) I play occasionally and am still technically active
I play WoT fairly regularly on the NA server. Ingame name is Major_McNasty and I can play up to Tier 9. Prefer TDs but starting to get back into Arty (Tier 7). Putte, Killbox and Aspius also play but since moving house I haven't really seen many people.
I play it regularly just not so much when i dont have anyone to play with but i have also been to busy playing flight sims lately I can play all tiers. I mostly play lights and mediums.
Still play, but I'm hanging out a bit on the EU server right now. just yell on me on teamspeak if you want to play, I might be around.
Wow, people still post here? Lol - anyways, yes, we sometimes still play at EU-times. It's mostly me and Aspius sometimes Wolf Ward but almost never Putte because he's too good for us. Can also play at all tiers - no really, all of them.
Sweet - just sold my 50 100 to get the 50 120, but I'm a little short. As in about a million silver short, and about 800 gold (to switch up the crew without losing performance). You'll like the 50 100 - it teams up nicely with a heavy tank like an IS-3 or Tiger II (something with armour). Also, it's single 6-round drum can and will destroy everything in it's tier, even if RNG hates you.
Good to see y'all again! It's been awhile! Finally got myself a damn T-54 for a tier 9, but i'm mostly building up my motley collection of tier 8s I do have an announcement, though: So Clan Strongholds just came out and they're looking pretty sweet. As such, a friend and I are going to start up a new clan on the NA server to build a brand new pillow fort! As of this writing, we have about five people (one of whom is actually in Finland, so we'll have someone playing on EU time). Anyone interested?
Well why not - as long as it's on the side and not srsbsns I see no harm. I've got like a million tanks - I play from Tier II to X. I actually have 3x Tier X's, 2x Tier IX's (soon to be 3 as well) and more VIII's than I can stick a shake at.
Especially if it's made from pillows! Yay pillows! Also, I can get MrSupreme and DrayWolf in as well if you like, Orcabro. Both of them are very solid players, and both have Clan Wars experience.
Awesome, the more the merrier! Also, another thing to note: as far as clan activities go, we'll actually be working mostly with tier 6 (and possibly tier 8 with a few more people).
Are you referring to Company Battles? So far I know that's the only place you have Tier limits. Unless of course we're helping others grind up.
There are also Skirmishes, which is the game mode used to obtain industrial resource. These come in three tiers (6, 8, and 10) of varying team sizes (assuming the lower tiers have less people per team)
