Any of the above sounds good. We currently don't have a Psyker and I think we can function fine without one (makes my life easier anyway). If you are comfortable with it, make your characters. If not, I can be caught online at various times. 7 stats. 2d10+25, feel free to rearrange them. Your Path is very important, for RP reasons, get it to me 8)
I'm thinking about playing something way outside my normal idiom, so here's my character: Wet-behind-the-ears Arbiter, still full of the emperor's zeal and good intentions, but blackballed by an uncaring bureaucracy to cover for the failings of a superior.
didn't post it here yet, gonna be rolling a Astropath, watch out you heretics, I got a direct line to a god! (well, they call him the god-emperor, personally I think he's actually a demon lord, or maybe possessed by a demon prince )
What sort of campaign-mood are we going for btw? Is it more of a humorous game with shenanigans and space piracy or are we keeping it pretty straight? Because it would be hilariously evil of me to pick the revided Untouchable elite advance for keeping that pesky astropath away... On a more serious note, going for the Explorator then!
That just means that you are perfect for soloing the eldar, so you go right on ahead....we will pick you up when your done!
IN THE GRIM DARK FUTURE OF GRIM DARKNESS THERE IS ONLY GRIM DARK I'm pretty terrible at keeping a straight face, so i expect shenanigans.
So, was just looking through the characters we have, and I look through Damions character, and I see this: Enemy (Ecclesiarchy) Talent Oh boy, here we go.
Oh... I got that one too... :V Also, I couldn't resist and checked over the Untouchable Elite Advance (Navis Primer, pg. 85) and it looked pretty neat now in the revision. The same as always, cannot be seen by warp entities and psykers, immune to Psychic Powers etc. but they have made it so the trait only effects a psyker's abilities within an area equal to the Blank's Willpower Bonus. Also it has become a levelled trait. Which means that for every level of Untouchable bought the Psyker within the area of effect reduces its Psy Rating by 1 for any Psychic Power used. Which in the end means that it is not shooting yourself in the foot to include both a Psyker and an Untouchable in a group from a game-technical viewpoint. On a character viewpoint though, that is a whole other thing. I think it would be hilarious to have an Explorator that the Astropath isn't even aware of, believing that his crew mates are talking to a collective imaginary friend (although it is up for interpretation if an Astropaths unnatural senses picks up on the physical presence of the Blank or not or even if the nullification of the warp around it works as a whole other sort of pointer). So I tried my hand at a Blank Explorator. Made sure he had only 24 in Willpower (AoE of 2m on the trait) and also with his fellowship being halved by the trait he ended up a charming 13 Fellowship. I am a bit in love with the character to be honest, but I made a version without the trait as well just in case you all don't agree with my sense of character humor. In either way he is pretty much just a tech-savant with excellent BS and Int.
...Guess who else is a enemy of the ecclesiarchy ! We can all get along....yes...or else someone is using a airlock
There will be fire. As soon as i pick up the proficiency. your untouchable is alright, I almost feel like it's too darn weak with a willpower that low, but you're an explorator and will kick butt in alot of other ways.
Well as it is the day before and noone has claimed it yet. I shall be your navigator for this voyage, full of mutations and some corruption off the bat, bring it on missionary!
