I think 4-6 years between episodes 4 and 6. I think 2.5 between 4 and 5 at least 1 year between 5 and 6 plus however many weeks or months 5 itself was. With travel time (hyperspace isn't instant) luke was probably training on dagobah for at least a month. He was probably in the bacta tank for a few days maybe a week. Actually they should have had a few days at least before the empire landed on hoth. They can't (unless disney fucked it up) jump into a gravitational field.
Thrawn trilogy was absolutely brilliant. Glad Disney have not completely forgotten the EU. Thrawn has been reintroduced into SE3 of SW Rebels exactly how he was in the novels.
I do feel like they are under utilizing. Also most of the ship designs are (physical appearence at least) are from the EU. The iron squadron ship is the same class as dash rendars ship. The carrier they capture is a qauser fire class i think first seen (well first time i saw it) in the rebellion game. And that game came out in 1998.
Zahn has also written a new CANON Thrawn novel that comes out this year! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars:_Thrawn
The underscore doesn't contradict what I said. The authentic works contradict themselves. The original writer/author sold the rights to IP to another company that hired new writers but that doesn't automatically mean that the original writer's original works are no longer canon or those that he agreed to be canon aren't canon now that people who paid money for the right to hire writers insist it isn't. Hence why I brought up the ecclesiastic court as a joke. How can there be any definitive "truth" obtained when the truth keeps changing constantly. What point is there to a canon if Disney were to sell it to Sony at some point and they'd again state that 80% of what is now canon is no longer canon etc. Meaning, we essentially have multiple canon lines that contradict each other. At least three primary lines: 1. The original trilogy (orthodox) 2. The original trilogy (cath) 3. The Disney canon (protestant)
Also considering disney doesn't even own episodes 1-6 (yet). 20th century fox still owns them. Disney will get 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 in 2020. But 20th century fox has permanent rights to episode 4. So disney will never own episode 4.
Otherwise they might reshoot 4-6 with a black lesbian woman as the lead char with an Asian gay Obi-Wan and Vader would be a young white male who is also a racist. Har har.
Wait there is diversity? But the lead female in all the movies is a brunette! Also felecity jones is hot (not really relevant but meh)
It is because they are all disgusting humans... where are all the alien leads at? seems like they are all a bunch of alien racists to me always casting humans when we all know aliens far out number humans in star wars..
Star Wars is one of the few sci-fi universes where humans are one of the galaxy's elder races. Coruscant is their home planet, so that gives an idea of how long they've been galactic players.
You sure you aren't American, and alt-right? Howsabout you keep them kinda comments to yourself on a forum you're a guest on, eh precious?
I want to know why we cant follow the story of some asshole bounty hunter or a sith for once... All we ever see is the perspective of the "good" side.
Maybe that will be explained eventually and the rebels really are the bad guys.. hence rebels.. with the whole thing being a total mind fuck.
thats why i love the tv series and the books. go read the bane trilogy. everybody just go do it. naow
