...just realised I never rolled levels in cleric before... I gotta declare a deity right? For Myst Theurge I mean?
If I remember correctly sorcerer's claim their innate power from draconic lineage right? So I'll say tiamat if evil, or bahamut if I'm good... my alignment depending on what the rest of our party is doing. Being the only evil guy would suck.
depends, there's different sources, but yeah, most claim dragon heritage. The text from the rulebook is: "Scions of innately magical bloodlines, the chosen of deities, the spawn of monsters, pawns of fate and destiny, or simply flukes of fickle magic..." Ghizmo is going chaotic good, I'll be true/chaotic neutral depending on how my biography turns out. Parties can link up for different reasons, so even an evil character could work with good guys if there was a clear benefit to do so.
Nah, Bahamut's a pretty cool guy so I'll roll with him. Besides, I already played a blackguard for tiamat already in a different campaign... or was it a crusader... I don't remember. EDIT: Declare Tzeentch. Everytime, Every Single Little thing, Every Roll, Every Crit, say very very quietly, "Just as planned...". j/k
I would highly recommend against evil, though neutral is doable. I have to finish my module first, but I expect to have a campaign guide done next week sometime. And Tzeen, have you been looking at the clerics in Pathfinder Core Rules? Covers all the info you need on deity, etc.
Just in case someone would argue with swimming being useful. http://spoonyexperiment.com/2012/09/02/counter-monkey-never-get-on-the-boat/
Just a heads up. Saturdays I tend to be insanely busy RL, but I will try to hop on fairly late tonight. I have received 3 characters and chatted about 2 others. Things are progressing well, but I will need to go through and talk to each person and make some adjustments on characters. These are not major issues generally, mostly minor math mistakes or clarifications. Most of you have access to the dropbox. If you don't, I will get you access when I catch you on Team Speak. Any questions, ask here, send me a PM, or write em down so I can catch you on TS.
GOOD NEWS! (for me, and clerics) we don't have to carry around shit-tons of components... pg 184 "To cast a spell with a material (M), focus (F), or divine focus (DF) component, you have to have the proper materials, as described by the spell. Unless these components are elaborate, preparing them is a free action. For material components and focuses whose costs are not listed in the spell description, you can assume that you have them if you have your spell component pouch." that was bothering me
As I have said to several peeps, the cheap components I am not too worried about it, unless you go bonkers on a certain set. If you toss 100 fireballs without returning for supplies, that's gonna be an issue. In game, I will tell you that you are running short on components if it becomes a problem.
