Table Top Battletech: Catalyst's April Fools 2013

The best part of this is that judging from their armor values, some of these could actually pose a serious threat to 31st century vehicles.

I mean DAMN, a 75mm canon hits at 90 hexes?

 

So awesome. If this is finally the TRO that acknowledges that mechs are no match for 20th century arms and armor, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

 

Is it possible to actually read it? Or am I missing something?

 

The weapon stats appear to be in MechWarrior scale, rather than Battletech scale.

And though I would agree the modern (post vietnam) weapons would give mechs a good thumping, the WW2 tech isn't there.

 

Well, assuming the 'mech were using Primitive Armor, of course...

 

I' pretty sure SABOT rounds would penetrate mech armor.
