    No clue, to be honest.

Made a control wizard (Lord Stormulus) and a guardian (Vulkarn Steelhide) both on mindflayer. Pretty fun so far, though I hate the two character limit, I want to try every class damn it!

Storm's level 9 and Vulkarn's level 5 if anyone wants to team up tonight. I'll be on around 10:30 EST onwards.

The altar seems to be a placable campsite more or less. Pop it and you can get that hp back anywhere.

I'm enjoying the game quite a lot more than I expected to be honest. The great weapon fighter fits me like I glove so enjoy the combat, crafting seems cool. PvP was alright aswell and the option to play player created content is pretty damn great.

I'd even consider spending a couple of bucks on this game if I only could find something in the store worth buying!

You can buy new character slots in the Zen store. Two extra slots costs about five of your american bucks. You can also grind some kind of currency in-game that you can exchange for Zen (the stuff you buy for real money). No idea how viable that really is however.

you can grind astral diamonds ingame, 24500 max each day, or sell stuff on the AH for astral diamonds. The exchange rate is about 480 AD to 1 zen right now, but according to the forums, it will usually end up around 200 AD to 1 zen. Probably a lot of work, but it's possible.

I will stay strong and not install this. Lucky for me I haven't never gotten into D&D games (after pen&paper + early C64 games).

But the peer pressure might prove me wrong...

Installed, had just enough time last night to get through the tutorial. Level 3 Half-Elf Rogue, display and character names are both Bartameus.

Yep, GWF is really fun. Heard is a little underpowered before level 30, but its fun. I keep stringing together my 3 AoE's (leap, charge up swing and the knee capper) together for fun times. Also, the 'healing' strike is a ridiculously effective single target blow, screw the healing aspects, the damage is ridiculous.

Got to level 9, I haven't upgraded any of my skills yet, just unlocked them all to try out. Its fun, its almost a single player game in some areas, some of the commonish areas you'll run into other players.

Only complaint would be that the enemies so far are very simple in their intentions. You get a quest to kill someone, you find them, there is never any talking (they may have a one liner or two) and then you kill them. No dialogue really with the people you kill, only with the ones you get the quests from.

I want to try the 'forge' quests at some point, haven't yet.

If you want to friend me, handle is tuonela7, char name tuonela.

Yeah the AOE damage is pretty damn crazy. And just wait untill you get the daily power that lets you leap up in the air and then come crashing down, knocking everyone down. Soooo much fun. I did found myself popping quite a lot of pots during lower levels against hard hitting single target mobs but once I got to level 16 and got a healing companion that "problem" went away.

And I can agree that the quests are a bit simplistic, but combat is fun enough so that it doesn't bother me that much. And once you dive in to the foundry quests you can find a couple of gems with more dialogue.

Also, any plans of getting a guild up and running?

What is up with the download speed, it is mind boggling slow? Never seen speeds this slow in years, reminds of the ole 14.4k days. Was about to do the torrent version but I don't have a torrent client on this computer and don't plan on having one on this computer either.

I had a terrible DL speed too, I wonder if their servers are overloaded...

Though, that wouldn't explain why the torrent is slow as well.
