good eye. and you are absolutely right.

Val's Marauder is the first case where we've had anyone with more than two quirks. For now, I'm going to let it play out and see how it goes. To be fair, two of the Quirks on Val's mech have only small benefits (life support and protected actuators). I think randomizing the results of Tinker has been pretty effective in cutting down on exploitation.

That said, it could create some fairly ridiculous end-game mechs... but, at 1.5m a pop, that will take awhile for it to manifest. If we feel like multi-stacking quirks is starting to break the game, we will adjust accordingly. The simplest solution would probably be something similar to how we handled Abilities awhile back.

 

Hunter, is it possible to use the -5SS that we have for the base of your build? I ask as I had been trying to get the money together to replace my destroyed centurion with the -5SE since they share a nearly identical load out. I know my eventual build can be done on either since its a hybrid of their two load outs, I would prefer to start with the -5SE since it will be a long time before I can afford to modify it by the time I'm done paying of any loans needed to buy it.
