Yah, I am confused as well. There's some pretty great games on sale. If I hadn't bought ALL of them last summer/Christmas... >.>
Been a bad selection for me personally. The games going on dailies so far are things I either don't want or already have. I'm sure others are having better luck with it. Just a purely subjective opinion statement.
That's very fair. I am having that problem as well. But, fortunately, all my friends are now buying the games U'd gotten months ago so I have peeps to play some multiplayer with
This doesnt exactly fit in, but Divinity Original Sin Pre-order is actually -50% off on G2A.com a key seller site (very trusty and reliable). So its 20€ or youre regional equivalent I suppose. Im really tempted here, but I dont pre-order usually.
Now things are starting to get good. Planetary Annihilation seemed like a good bet for $16. Hell of a lot better than when it used to be $90.
FTFY My damages have been pretty controlled thus far. I walked into the steam sale with $50 in my steam wallet that I stashed back there sometime in the spring to mitigate the damages the summer sale would do. I have thus far purchased: Skyrim: Dragonborn BioShock infinite season pass (for Burial at Sea ep 1 and 2) Metro last light Metro 2033 If I'm not much mistaken, I believe I still have $20 left, +/- a buck, before I even exhaust my steam wallet. Truthfully there wasn't too much else I was looking to buy this sale. If they end up knocking the price down on Wolfenstein I may pick that up. If not, I'll wait until it drops in price. It's still early for me to say that I won't purcase anything else, but there's nothing else I was looking for.
I got Skyrim Legendary Edition and Deus Ex HR. So far not too much I really want or its not dicounted enough.
I picked it up a couple months ago when it was on sale. It's a bit....complex. I really liked Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander (the real one, not the silly dumbed down version that was SUPCOM2), but PA almost has too much going on. The AI is tough to beat simply because it can keep track of all the stuff going on better than a human possibly could. I bet multiplayer is fun, but I never got around to trying it.
I've played PA too (was a backer), and while it's fun, Guppy is right in that there is a TON going on to keep track of. I'm really bad at it.
