Rome was awesome. I wish there were more Roman centric series out there of quality.

 

Actually you may remeber greeks for their pottery full of naked people. They were not naked, only paint used to paint clothing didnt stood test of time well.

 

I would like to see something on the Trojan War done, something that excludes Brad Pitt.

 

There was nothing romantic about Trojan war, warriors entered city via a clever trick, opened gates and slaughtered most of the population while burning city to the ground.

 

Yes. Who wouldn't want to see that?

Besides, it's not as if Hollywood producers *gasp* take artistic liberties with historical events.

 

What i would really like to see is time when Rome was collapsing under the pressure of various tribes, that would be interesting extremely hard to pull off but interesting.
or spread of christianity but from a viewpoint of non-chrisitan, possibilities here are amazing especially since there were quite a few cults that could take place as dominant religion instead of christianity.

 

There was a movie that somewhat did that, but it was pretty fucking shitty. The movie was The Last Legion with Ben Kingsley.

 

Watching Season 2 now. I fucking love this show.
