I've been playing solo for about a day now. took a while to get into it, but I think I'm starting to like it. Especially now that I'm getting into professions and stuff. Also I went on an adventure with some random guy named Shmebulok.

I have a group of IRL friends that ate gettin ready to play on the cat people side. From what they tell me, they hold better advantages. If we start getting more into this game, can we please join that side?

 

I guess if most people want to play that side. I am up for it. I just hate the music and general vibe of that side.

 

Yeah, I played through open beta on the cat people side. I certainly like the aesthetics of Nuia better, but the prospect of murdering elves as a jackie-chan look-alike is intriguing. I think I will be playing at launch, I'm not buying a $50 dollar pack to get into early access. When the game officially launches next week I'll be subscribing for 1 month and giving it a go. Do we have a launch server list yet?

They just opened a new server, it might be the place to go to avoid the big crowds. Though I imagine a lot of the F2P players are thinking the same way I am.....

Yeah I saw that earlier, I think we should go there. Whatever server has the highest amount of F2P players will hopefully have the least amount of 24/7 Labor Pot users.

 

They did change the labor potions, it is not on a 12 hour cycle instead of the 4 hour it was on.

 

Has anyone looked at guilds yet? We probably want to get into a guild soon, especially if we want to take part in the larger scale PvP.

 

I wouldn't make it a week on the east side. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

What is the consensus. I would like to get as many people on the same side as possible.. is everyone really set on going to the East?

 

A point to consider, this seems to say that they will be adding the ability to create a player faction with members of both sides.

Yea.. there are a lot of problems with that. One major one, you cannot go into the same areas and quest or work due to being hostile to everyone around you.

So while it may be possible.. it is not practical at all.

 

I don't know why not being able to cross-faction is disappointing, but it is.

 

As I said.. you CAN.. and if you stay out of the continent and focus solely on neutral areas.. it might work.
