Checking in. Are we good to go for tonight? July 29?

 

my apologies for not posting before yesterday, given the difficulties many of the players are having with the day and time or just in general I believe I'm going to have to nix this game for the time being, if there's more interest, or enough interest for another day/time slot that I can manage I'll consider it, however I suspect I'll get some more work done and try again later, perhaps after summer which always seems to cause a hit to general attendance.

Heads up in advance. August 6th is a no play due to a convention.

 

So, work has been keeping me hectic but always fun. On that wonderful note, I picked up two books this week. Occult Adventures (6 new classes, some of which are really weird) and Hell Unleashed (devils going to town). This should be a lot of fun

 

Oooooh. I was hoping to make an Occultist for my next character.

 

I could've swore that was the name of our last campaign

Hmm... I don't want to kill Alara just yet, but the occultist does sounds really interesting for RP.

Anyway, can I get a recap of last week?

 

Last week we had a convention and didn't play The week before that, we dealt with a squad sent to find us, who apparently knew exactly which direction to travel.

Will Alara's call for help be answered? Will her long lost kin be timely in their response?

 

will Timmy ever be fished out of that well?

Quick heads up. We should be good to game tonight, but I do have a minor sinus headache. If it goes from minor to major, I may have to call it early but I intend to be solid for a few hours

 

If I'm reading this correctly, retraining a class level has a time requirement, but no gold requirement. Is that what you're seeing?

At any rate, psychic abilities appear to be either charisma or wisdom based, so retraining isn't a good choice in this game.

Unless stated otherwise, retraining costs gp equal to 10 × your level × the number of days required to retrain. This is normally paid in full at the start of the retraining period, but the GM might allow you to divide these payments over multiple days. At the GM's discretion, this training cost could be up to 50% higher or lower, depending on situational factors within the settlement—availability of trainers, local economy, cost of materials, and so on.

Therefore, retraining a class would take 7 days (or 5 if synergy exists) and cost 210 GP at level 3 (or 150).
