Can they go back to stealing animation? At least then the effing plot moved forward. I swear, six straight months of Madara's stupid infinite teppanyaki or whatever...
I put up with so much of that shit, only to lose interest in the middle of the Ninja War. What is wrong with me?
wait.... people still watch naruto? go read the manga and be done with the anime version. life will be much happier.
I just need closure. It wouldn't be the same, just reading the ending. I need to see how the anime team fucks it up.
It's not written to have an ending. I don't know about Naruto but some series definitely have less actual content and story for several seasons than some others have per episode. Like, it takes three episodes for the gang in some series to enter a fricking barn, 5 episodes before they've taken a nap and ate breakfast and other 4 episodes to exit the barn.
Show dreams of multiple characters thus nap takes a few episodes. Original dbz they power up with no fighting for a whole episode or more.
My favorite part is how the ideal dream worlds they came up with are so incredibly meh. Like Tenten's was just to be relevant in any way, which is already pretty sad, but then when it came time for her moment in the spotlight they just unceremoniously resolved her big climactic battle offscreen. Even in her own mind she's a background character.
That and Bleach are sooo meh. They have their great moments, but then the rest of the time it is as you said tepid crap. I only started watching them because my brother loves Naruto so much. And I'm a story completionist. But even he's grown tired of their shit now.
Actually, now that I think about it, another thing that makes me so angry about those series: They design a metric shit-ton of awesome characters and THEN COMPLETELY FUCKING WASTE THEM.
even though g gundam is mediocre i do like watching the final battle just to see the gundams from other series show up at the final battle. The final battle of G Gundam includes numerous cameo appearances by prominent mobile suits from previous Gundam series such as the original Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Gundam 0083, Gundam F91, V Gundam, and the manga Crossbone Gundam. In addition, this battle also features appearances by Gundam Wing's XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (making its on-screen debut) and the title robots of Zambot 3 and Daitarn 3 (both of which were Yoshiyuki Tomino's creations before Gundam). Also, a mobile suit of striking resemblance to Gundam Deathscythe Hell makes an appearance in the episode introducing Bolt Gundam in the underground facility. None of these machines played any significant role in the battle, and were likely included as an inside joke to long-time fans of Gundam. yep. the wing gundam appeared on screen in g gundam before gundam wing even aired. it was only a week but still. and that doesn't mention it but i'm pretty sure in one of the crowds i've seen the nu gundam from char's counterattack and the NT-1 from war in the pocket.
So, while everyone's discussing ninjas and chopsticks here, I'll just start off with this; ~Neon Genesis Evangelion~ Don't get me wrong, I love Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann and Steins;Gate as much as everyone else. But NGE really took my flag and waved it around without any remorse or regard for my feelings and comprehension. I followed it on-the-spot from start till end and I was not disappointed at any point in the series. Sure, things tend to go a bit slow from time-to-time but in the end its just making up for its heavy statements and heartwrenching moments by kicking us around a bit with some mindless personal banter between main characters, but in the end there's nothing more satisfying then watching it all and then ending with The End of Evangelion. I've heard many people call it pretentious and over-the-top and yes, it is over-the-top, but it does what it was intended to do, it makes you think. Well, I'm going to cover another aspect of this series, since we're all mech-lovers (I suppose, at least). I really, really love the design and the ideas behind the EVA units, it's well written-out and the execution of it is even better. The way they move, the way they are, just the entire being of an EVA unit is so compelling that it makes you feel sorry for the creature. Not many of my friends are very keen on NGE, that's why I decided to poke around here, hoping to find some good discussion material and to get to know the animu and mango side of The Skjaldborg. Lardaltef... I can actually explain why G Gundam is worth watching.... it's the best street fighter anime ever made, hands down Oh god this can of worms again.... The show is a collection of religious symbols with inexplicable or just non-existant connections to the story that are suppose to tie everything together, the character base consist of sociopathic characters who have no character development whatsoever. GAH there are so many Anime's that do a much better job of delving deeper into the themes that the show seemed to be going for, yet every time I watch NGE I get sick, because of how piss-poor it is. The show has amazing visuals and unfortuantely actually had a writing staff that was good, but they couldn't even pull it together. There is no substance to the show, the story really isn't all that compelling and without any character development the personalities of the different characters in the series are flat and generally just become boring. Gah and still I have so many friends who will try to use this show as the best thing ever.... it's not it lousy but I can rarely convince people of that... hell Gurran Lagenn had a deeper story then NGE. /endrant
I have been enlightened to the glorious light that is Symphogear. 10/10 ANIME OF THE FUCKING CENTURY. *mic drop* Spoiler its bad but in a really goddamn entertaining way
Actually the english dubbed version of g gundam is pretty amazing because the cheeseiness of the lines works with it. The japanese doesnt for whatever reason. Maybe they are trying to be serious?
You're not really making a lot of sense. A lot is explained, but the anime lacks a few important pieces. If you want to get into the full story, you should dive deeper into the lore. And I can't take your rant into consideration without any solid points as to why it makes you sick. Also, this is the 2nd thing you trash that I like.
