Sailor Moon Sailor Moon Sailor Moon Sailor Moon Sailor Moon Um, Robotech, Cowboy Bebop, and Record of the Lodoss War (sp?) are really the only series I've watched.
Robotech was pretty cool altough original Macross was much better and as far as realistic mech combat goes i think that Armoured Trooper VOTOMS was pretty darn accurate, not to mention stoic main character which is insanely more badass than your typical anime protagonist.

Tie: Gurren Lagann - Macross (pretty much every series, Zero is my favorite) 1. Full Metal Panic (every series) Manga 5. Bleach (though I pretend it ended after Aizen was defeated) 4. Naruto Shippuden 3. D. Gray Man 2. Berserk 1. Claymore Would be much easier if I could spit it up into genres.
Only watched cowboy bebop, otherwise i tend to read manga. Im a huge fan of comics in general... exept for amercian comics, which i must admit ignorance to.

Berserk honorable mentions: Bleach, JoJos bizarre adventure, Death Note, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist @up Manga is like comic but with very distinctive graphics and genres endemic only to it and Anime is similar case, check out short ones like Trava Fist Sky, Dead Leaves, Cowboy Bebop, pretty much everything Ghibli, Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Redline, especially Redline.
Perhaps you're thinking of Manga Entertainment? Anyways, these days many manga's get adapted into animes. Sometimes it goes vice versa, but not often. My top 5: 5: Ghost in the Shell 4: Guilty Crown (2011) 3: Cowboy Bebop 2: Spice and Wolf 1: A Certain Scientific Railgun/A Certain Magical Index Both my number 1 and 2's are adaptations from Light Novels, which are the absolute most awesome thing ever.
