I've seen the first two parts of the Evangelion rebuild (the ones that have released in the States) and thought it was pretty decent. But from what I understand that version cuts a LOT of stuff out and does a somewhat better job of telling you what's going on. It also has great music and improved animations, so it's worth checking out if you hate the original. That being said, I've never seen much of the original series, so I can't really make a good comparison.
I think the disjointedness of it is generally why people dont like it if they dont like it. Im in the middle. Could never get into it enough to say i hate it or like it.
I cant believe you just said that. Anime is serious business mate. Dont take it lightly or it might be the end of you. One day you'll be walking down Comicon cosplaying as Sailor Moon, minding your own business and thinking youre safe, when that one NGE fan you pissed off 3 years ago on the internet will stab you in the back. Ironically cosplaying as that oh so weak little crybaby Shinji, you kept making so much fun of.
I don't think that's irony. Ambushing somebody from behind after stewing on it for three years sounds kinda exactly like something Shinji would do.
Last episode of One Punch Man. Was awesome. Quite awesome... ... That is all. Meteoric Burst! You know, funny that I suddenly got an excessive desire to watch both Gurren Lagann and Kill La Kill again.
that final battle was more epic in a few minutes then anything DBZ ever came up with. that was awesome.
That was explained in the most recent movie. His body got used to having divine Ki, so now he can do it whenever he wants.
i guess it did. so i guess the red hair is when it's done using the help of other saiyen's and blue is when it's achieved by oneself?
So like how he became able to turn SSJ on/off without waiting for Krillin to explode? After using it just once? I guess that's alright...
But then after a while that stops doing it for him, so Krillin has to die in increasingly bizarre and graphic ways before he can get his hair up.
that would make the show more interesting. also krillin has to die for him to go from level 1 to level 2 and again to go to level 3.
apparently they've released art and names and some background on all the pilots in the upcoming macross delta. but this one caught my eye. Mirage Farina Jenius The only woman on the Delta Team. On the one hand she takes pride in her duties as a pilot, but on the other she is serious and inflexible. She shares the same family name with Max from the first Macross series, and the same middle name from Millia from the first series. Max and Millia had seven daughters with similar names. but short rundown it seems there are two nations/governments and both have an ace squadron/team but one also has a unit kinda like the jamming birds from macross 7 who sings (whether they sing while in battle who knows. i'd rather they didn't but it's macross so you know there will be singing somewhere during battle). i kinda want macross zero style with just/mostly fighting. even frontier it was more about the combat.
i do love how they keep coming back to the one year war. i think it's funny how out of the whole UC the one year war is the best. and almost everything after kinda sucks. 8th ms team was one year war i think 0080 war in the pocket was as well.
The kampfer is pretty badass. Aside from the gundams and a few of the zeon suits i prefer the styling of the zeon suits. Most of the mobile armors i never cared for.
