Just finished Mushishi the other day. What a masterpiece. Its excellent at building an atmosphere and it subtly tackles various topics without ever becoming preachy. Pair it with a small bit of mystery and its a package I just loved and adored from beginning to end. One only needs a bit of patience and shoudlnt have a problem with episodic formats. This is not an action-thriller, yet it managed to keep me interested the whole time and I still wanted to watch more and at the same time dread the moment it will all end.
who pays for everything in pokemon? the show not the games. i never see money changing hands. also for all the time they spend outdoors they don't seem to carry tents or any outdoor equipment. i want to know about the ecosystem too. do pokemon eat eachother in the wild? are their non pokemon like cows? do humans eat pokemon? or are they all vegetarians? WE NEED THESE FACTS COMPANY THAT MAKES POKEMON. well adults need these facts. i mean they did bring up pokemon dying with cubone and the the ghost types. and this is dismal for cubone. pokedex entries. Yellow Wears the skull of its deceased mother. Its cries echo inside the skull and come out as a sad melody. Silver It always wears the skull of its dead mother, so no one has any idea what its hidden face looks like. Crystal It lost its mother after its birth. It wears its mother's skull, never revealing its true face. FireRed It wears the skull of its dead mother on its head. When it becomes lonesome, it is said to cry loudly. SoulSilver It always wears the skull of its dead mother, so no one has any idea what its hidden face looks like. X It wears the skull of its dead mother on its head. When it becomes lonesome, it is said to cry loudly. Y It always wears the skull of its dead mother, so no one has any idea what its hidden face looks like. and most if not all the ghost types are pokemon that have died. there needs to be an adult pokemon show where ash has actually aged. and more stuff is going on like money is involved and what not. also pikachu should demolish almost every gym leaders pokemon. pikachu can defeat legendary pokemon. of course ash's charizard can but charizard is even more powerful.
Pokemon are basically the animals of the Pokemon world, they just have special abilities. With that being said Pokemon do eat each other, humans also eat Pokemon. This can be seen a few times in the show, games, and manga. Restaurant dishes such as seared tongue of lickitung, roasted pidgey, tauros steaks, dodrio egg omelet, and so on can be seen from time to time. The reason ash can't beat every gym leader is because just like starting a new Pokemon game you start from scratch, he resets as well when he gets to a new area which is why he normally only has pikachu with him since that is his starting Pokemon.
but pokemon are friends. though some people eat dogs so it's the same thing? i guess? sucks to be ash if pikachu goes from level 100 to level 1 every time they go to a new continent. unless level 100 is level 1 somewhere else? like a level 100 tier 1 is equivalent to a level 1 tier 2? could always be along those lines.
my favorite part of gundam seed is when kira is warning everyone to get away from alaska base but at the same time "but let me destroy your mobile suits so you can't get away"
No it really goes with game sequel logic. You may keep some of the skills learnt from the previous game by loading your end game save but everything is 0xp and lvl1. Ash gets his first level up on each region by being able to exit the spawn building or acquiring a first lunch or in general getting into his first fight (regardless of outcome).
Oh yea. Talk about psychotic episode "run into your evac vehicles and flee! MUHAHAHHA" and shoots at evac vehicles.
macross delta episode 1 came out today. not sure what to think yet. seems like it could be good. certainly better than macross 7. i think the rest of the episodes come out in spring. so 3 months. and i think it's a complete episode. it might not be the finished episode 1. so there will probably be changes in the episode when it properly airs in the spring. so far it seems to be a hybrid of frontier and macross 7. though the singers might not be pilots. which would be good. basara singing while piloting was fucking stupid. the singing group has a group of pilots that protect them.
Off to a okay start Spotted millia's daughter instantly Spoiler Well I think it's the pre episode 1 with a mix of episode 1 as there was no obligatory novice pilot saving new heroine singer and then flying around with her. whats with the things sprouting from the hair of the new aliens or is it a mutation Only seen raw so far and my Japanese is only good enough for understanding about 70 to 80% of what is being said most of the time. It's all those crazy words that have multiple kanji that screw me over
Spoiler: spoiler pretty sure the guy with blue hair is the new pilot of delta. i did feel like it was missing at least 2 minutes. and it felt alot like the first episode of frontier at least how it was going. and at least there is only one singing group. i would've been annoyed if the enemy valkyrie team were singers too but they seem to be only pilots which is good. subbed where i watched it. https://kissanime.to/Anime/Macross-Delta also happens to be the site where i watch most of my anime now.they usually get their stuff within a few hours of when it airs in japan. well at least as fast as it gets subbed. and usually fairly accurate. i think. i know only the most basic words from watching anime so i don't actually know how accurate it may be. i wonder if one of the people on this actually lives in japan and is fluent in both japanese and english.
So Macross delta is scheduled for a spring release.. So now we get to wait three months for the rest of it.
i was rewatching some of the gundam stuff. and it got me thinking who is the best gundam pilot across all the series/universes. and i know it's completely subjective to each person. but i was looking it up to see what people think and a fair number of people say heero from gundam wing. i can't even list him near the top simply because of the zero system in the wing zero. it shows him the future. so that brings his skill into question or rather how good he actually is. for me I think it is a toss up between amuro, kira and setsuna. of course i haven't seen every gundam series but of the ones i have seen i'd have to say those.
actually my favorite mobile suit is the kampfer. it's got two shotguns and bazookas. actually I think 0080 is the first time it showed up. also favorite pilot ever is char.
Norris from 8th MS Team is my pick for the best. No genetic super powers, no psychic abilities, and no stupidly powerful mobile suits. The dude went up against an ENTIRE TEAM of Gundam pilots (with backup) and managed to destroy several enemies and disable a couple of others before going down. And if you ignore the fact that he died, he actually did accomplish all of his objectives when vastly outnumbered and outgunned.
you could also easily put char up there because he is the only one in all of the main UC stories. hes in the one year war (which 0080 with the gundam alex and 8th ms team are during so those are not main line. i don't think 0083 stardust memory is a mainline but not sure and i'm pretty sure char is mentioned in. he is in zeta and i think he is in double zeta. he is of course in char's counterattack and in unicorn (though it seems to be a clone but even that is not clear). if he isn't in he is at least mentioned in almost every one.
he's not in any of the what-I-call "side stories" (0080, 8th MS, 0083, etc.) he's not in double zeta (for better or for worse), and afaik full frontal is a clone (anything beyond that approaches spoiler territory) not gonna deny everybody talks about him, though; dude's pretty famous
i swear he was mentioned in double zeta. though to be fair that was so painful i couldn't even finish watching it. also i hate camille. fuck him. even if he is supposed to be the "best" newtype. fuck him. kid has an attitude problem. also why the hell are his parents surprised when he's disobedient when they gave him that name? shit if i had that name i'd be inclined to be as troublesome as possible just to spite everyone.
is it just me or do 80% of the male leads from anime thats come out in the last 2 years look exactly alike?
