I would reverse that. Vegeta is a far more tactical thinker, and is actually able to look for an enemy's weaknesses. Goku just punches things. Though, of the entire lot, I actually think Piccolo and Krillin are the best fighters. But yes, Goku is a bullshit character.

I caught the final episode of Kill La Kill last week. W.T.F. Japan? What a weird take on the "clothes make the man" saying. A whole lot of nonsense and way too much Loli fan service for my liking. Cartoon Network's Toonami kind of sucks these days. The only show on there I genuinely enjoy is Samurai Champloo, but I've watched it so many times, it's not something I watch without friends. Really wish I could find some more anime that wasn't pants-on-head retarded.
it does get extremely annoying how almost all anime follow middle or high school turds. very few follow mature characters. I can think of a few. Original Macross, Macross plus, Macross 7 (7 maybe not so much but it is close enough) thats all i can think of. Edit one more The Legend of the Galactic Heroes Just noticed most of the mature ones are older anime that are space fairing.
Actually i would kinda of like it if there wasnt a love triangle in delta. Its possible because there are so many characters this time around. I mean all the delta sqaud pilots are male except for mirage. And hayate does feel more like max than hikaru. Also liked seeing the vf-1 again. I wonder how they have upgraded. Probably mostly only in avionics software and th ex gear that was shown in frontier.
Off the top of my head, animes that I really liked (that I've seen): Cowboy Bebop (of course) Samurai Champloo Ghost In the Shell (all of them) Baccano! MSG: 08th MS Team (i liked the semi-realistic take on it) Both Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress and Joker Game look really interesting. Also, want to check out MSG: Iron-blood Orphans which looks like a more mature take on the MSG franchise. I tried watching Black Lagoon but I found the main heroine in that show to be intolerable. It wasn't even her "potty mouth". I just found her annoying in the "I'm-super hardcore-100%-of-the-time" sense. Thanks for the suggestions though.
I loved Cowboy Bebop, but I never could get all the way through Samurai Champloo. I just despised everyone in it by the half way point, and didn't want to spend the time to finish. Tried twice, just can't do it.
Votoms is absolutely great altough it does get its head up its arse a bit with the story in the last bit. But its has some amazing mech combat and design even if the mechs dont look really flashy at all.
Have to find a active torrent, which for votoms good luck with that. I have some of the red shoulder stuff, i still need to get the rest of it.
The original Votoms master was destroyed in a fire (yeah, its that old). Since there is no master... there has never been a"remaster" and I think it has remained a bit under the radar as a result. I think this is one of the later releases, but the whole franchise is motherfucking intense: What I like is that the show downplays "godmode" abilities; he is certainly not invulnerable even against mooks... rather he's just a total badass.

(Rape fall is.. He stumbles for what ever reason and falls onto a girl knocking her down with him on top) If he sees a girl naked by walking in on a girl by accident you do a jaeger bomb. If male leads little sister confesses her true love for her onichan you do a Irish car bomb. This isn't finished but it's the basic idea

Spoiler: mirages lineage no idea who her parents are but her grandparents are max and miriya. wikipedia it says she is mylene's niece. so it's one of the others. On wikipedia about Milia/Mirya (always going to go by her english name from robotech. shes and gloval are the only ones I prefer the robotech names) she and max had an adopted daughter who I think would be Mirage's mother. probably doesn't really matter though. Moaramia Fallyna Jenius (adopted daughter). Actually the best option is Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius - 2011 (first born human/meltran child). Their first child of 8. 7 biological one adopted. all daughters. now that i think about it except for guld in macross plus all the half zentradi in the series have been female. Wonder why that is.
