should work now. apparently they don't work if you try directly from email. well they worked for me just no one else.
Yea those are the battleship extra modules. They increase the cost of the ship by a fuckton and honestly, not really needed in my games.
that's basically what my mod does you can equip stations with jump inhibitors and with 3x the hull points they can actually take a decent beating when supported by fleets. i was careful not to turn them into deathstars though. you will still need to counter a particularly large fleet with your own. but if you have an allied fleet sitting with the station, the station is extremely hard to kill.
Much longer range than warp, dramatically shorter spool up/recovery period, and it's instaneous travel once the jump is initiated, rather than taking time to get to the next system. Table for reference under the at a glance section: http://www.stellariswiki.com/FTL
I think the big advantage of Jump vs. WH is that the Jump can basically do everything the WH drive can without relying on generators. In other news... something for Rick & Morty fans: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=685893177&searchtext=
They're totally out to get you and they're inventing terms like paranoia to catch you off guard and to alienate your allies from you.
Something i think is missing (or i just can't find it) a mass way to order ships. As in a single class. What if i want to build 100 corvettes? I dont want to have to click 100 times. Als a sector shipyard control would be nice. Like 1 panel that allows you to order x number of ships from a sector and the ai decides how to divy up number of ships between yards. Order 24 ships and have 3 yards it assigns 8 to each. Of course that could all be in the pipeline.
tried that it didn't work with ships. I'd actually like with ships if you did ctrl click (just for ships) it would bring up a dialog where you could type the number or it was a slider (or both).
I am the Otaga Council. I think right now I have the most fleet power of any empire and the most resources. with only one ally (the Garsomething Confederacy the blue group right next to me). I do have two vassals both from enlightenment. But 29 worlds just within my borders (and 5-10 more I haven't colonized yet in my borders). So far I have only been in two short wars which only resulted in one empire splitting in half. Yes I have 48 assault armies sitting in space. waiting. till I go to war. I might try to vassalize one or two of the independent nations. Or the reds to my left (the cartel) who are in an alliance but currently in a war so their fleet power is crap.
I also set it to hyperspace only which is actually pretty fun. It is annoying trying to chase a fleet though.
Good hint. I don't have any yet but I'm on my way to power. This'll come handy when I finally take my fleet to war.
