Heck there is a good 20 year difference between their first daughter (2011) and Mylene in 2031. Wonder if hayate will somehow be related to hikaru. We don't actually know what happened to the fleet. hikaru, misa and minmei all disappeared with the SDF-2/megaroad-1. It was rebuilt after the first series ended.

there are alot women whos names starts with M. for that matter there are alot of people whos name start with M. Hayate does actually look like that one aerial knight the youngest one with the red hair. Could just be coincidence.

The aerial knights fighters do kinda look a little bit like the anti-UN forces fighters. I suppose it will also depend on if in that previous war with the windermereans they had variable fighters or not that they based off the one shin was in. fighter form they look more like the first vf-0 shin was in. the one with the 2nd seat and delta wings. the blue one.
In the opening thing about protoculture in delta there was a drawing that looked similar to the bird human drawing in macross zero
pretty sure I've said this before but I love the battle for alaska base in gundam seed when kira first uses the freedom. What I love about it is kira going "alaska base is about to explode; get out of here, but first let me disable your mobile suits so you can't escape." to the duel "get out of; stop fighting while i cut the legs off your mobile suit and kick you a little closer to the base towards the ocean so you can't escape the blast". Once he takes his no killing policy it's more of a "i won't kill you but you'll still probably die"
delta was slow but it's finally getting better. also I think that is the earliest any of the main supporting characters has died.
That ending was depressing. Only consolation I get is that I get to see the hound and mountain murder a bunch of assholes next Sunday in game of thrones.
oh god. the dubbed version of iron blooded orphans is painful. I just looked at the first episode to see how the dub was. and holy crap. at least it's more the scripting here then the actual voices. some both are horrible.

i feel like macross delta is just okay. better then 7 but not alot. I think the main problem is they are trying to do too many "main" stories. and to many characters.
Are there any angsty constantly embarrassed awkward teenagers? Are there lolita? Using those two filters really narrows down the "to watch" list.
