TTS is less a game and more a platform to play other games online. There is almost an exhausting list of free games that allow for up to 10 players:

This program is just pure shenanigans waiting to happen; especially with VR!​

Who's ready to join in on the fun?

Right now, I'm thinking of hosting this on the weekends; either as alternating Saturdays with Run & Gun Night (every 2 weeks) or on Sundays. Leave your suggestions/questions below.​

 

If we have enough newer players, I have some basic mono-color decks that will server as solid starter decks for new players to Magic. I selected only cards from modern and core sets so the cards are fairly simple to understand. They are also themed well for their color (Red being goblins, dragons, and "Burn", Blue being wizards, merfolk, and "Control", etc.). I've taken special care in building and testing them to help ensure all 5 decks are well balanced. They can be used for standard play or Commander and so should serve well to introduce players to the game.

In Magic circles, I've basically built something known as a "Cube", but only sort of. It's basically a self-contained set of cards that allows for easier pick-up and play for casual groups.

I've included them all in a savefile I have for TTS so they can be easily downloaded by anyone. Will post it later this week.

I never had the chance to play Battaletech CCG, but I am definitely down for learning how to play it.

 

PS - do you guys want to do this Saturday or Sunday and what time?

 

Once people become more familiar with the game we can start playing with custom decks. But for starters, I have provided some hand-built decks that should be evenly matched. Should create some interesting gameplay for us.

Black = Undead Warriors
Blue = Spellbreakers
Green = Nature's Wrath
Red = Goblin Horde
White = Holy Army

I started with MTG, because I am already familiar with the rules, but I will also work on getting the Battletech CCG ready to go for this weekend.

 

How does Sunday sound for everyone? Can we do earlier so Aspius and other euros can join us? Maybe start at 3pm EST?

 

Well right now the only stuff I have ready to go is Magic. I plan to get the Battletech CCG ready too, but I have no idea what is involved with that because I still need to learn how its played. Other than those two games, I've had zero feedback from people on what they actually want to play this weekend. Just saying.

If we can at least get 4 people for both times, we can try two separate times, but otherwise I need to focus on one, unfortunately.

Shall we try for 1200 and 1800 on Sunday? If you think you can make one or both of those times, please post below. Otherwise let us know what times are good for you.

 

Also keep in mind, there is still plenty of other games I would like to play with TTS, but just for this weekend I am limiting it to stuff that I can have ready to go without too much work.

 

Everyone, keep posting times on when you are available (1200 and/or 1800 on Sunday). It really helps!

On a related note, I've found a bunch more games that we can play without too much effort (Mini Golf, Settlers of Catan, The Resistance, etc.). Some have in-game script support that helps to automate some of the game mechanics. You can find the full list here:
