The Borg isn't a cult.... wait.. never mind. The person doing the recruiting seems to be getting much better rewards. I see the point in it but it just seems scammish since they aren't giving people equal rewards.
Its rather normal rewards for something like this. Both gets the emote and friendship circlet (20% more xp when lvl 25 or below). The recruiter also get Aetheryte Pendulum. Which allows you to teleport to the aetheryte closest to New Adventurers on your friend list free of charge. The only advantage this gives is that you can teleport for free. The normal price for teleporting is 100 - 500 Pix depending on distance (I'm lvl 30 and i have 600 000 pix. Max level is 60). The recruited gets 99 x Aetheryte Tickets which works very similar. The Gold Feathers allows you to buy some mounts and colours for your gear. Silver Feather allows you to buy gear. Which is either lvl 15 or lvl 50. The lvl 50 gear you can earn in game. The recruiter also gets a mount which can carry a passenger. Its nothing game changing or anything lke that.

I’ve heard FF14 online is doing very well for itself. Quite a few wow players have gone over and no intentions of coming back. WoW just isn’t what it used to be, it’s like a soulless husk.
If anyone does want to try it, the demo lets you play up top level 35 in every class and crafting discipline. I'm on the Exodus server right now. Trial players can't use most of the social features, but I can invite to parties.
So I made a *mumble* catgirl shut up on Exodus. PST Khloe Rabnah if you want to do something because so far this game has been 95% fedex quests and I desperately want to do something not that.
Sure. Your first few group activities unlock around level 10, and the first dungeon at level 15. And yeah, a lot of the low level "quest" are delivery boy stuff. You can also go out and do world events, or fill in your hunting log to get xp and just ignore some of the intro stuff.
Groovy, I just hit ten. Did some of the world events but so far they're even less engaging than the quests since there's not even any story behind them, it's just "hey kill ten of these things for reasons." I did find one dungeon but haven't gone in since I haven't got a group and haven't figured out how to pug one yet, especially since I can't use chat on a trial account.
