I'm sorry for this message and I appreciate you guys letting me into the clan. I wanted to say that first. I'm going to step away from MWO for a while. I have plans to play, I love the style and pacing of the combat and the depth to the mech builds and so on. Unfortunately after this last patch I can hardly keep the client alive. At first it was fine, I played like 15 games in a row with no issue but now I've been able to play maybe a game or two before it entirely craps itself. Went through hours of troubleshooting to no avail. I'm going to wait till there's a LOT more polish. I don't enjoy spending my free time being frustrated. I know it will end up a great game but it just isn't there yet. I like you guys, I hope there will be a spot for me when I return to the game. I apologize for this happening so soon after I joined. Happy hunting!
No harm done, man. You could always just play with us when we do other games. Someone is always playing Day Z, Minecraft, Megamek, etc. etc.
Even if you can't play MWO for now, the important part is you're still active with the unit, in any capacity.
On that note I just got into the planetside 2 beta and it's one of the greatest games I've loaded up in a long time. Anyone you know of playing that? Seriously, so good.
Pretty sure a bunch of SoR guys are. I'm in beta, but haven't been logged in at the same time as anyone else yet
I take that back. After looking into it the cert system in PS2 makes it a giant grindfest, purposefully making people kill literally 3600 people to attain a single gun or purchase it with money. Pay to win under the guise of free to play. Such a shame as the game itself is fun as hell.
Thanks for letting us know ahead of time instead of just disappearing, I'll move you into the Reserve unit.
That's been my experience with it too, and dropping in solo is pretty much a death sentence... Haven't played in a while though, since MWO has been taking what free time I get. We really need to set up a regular PS2 time or something.
I wouldn't mind some PS2 if someone could get me a key or something. And had map data I could look. >.>
