Adding a photo signature

    Ok, so maybe I'm completely doing this wrong, but following the advice from the new members post in Announcements they "claim" you can grab your unit photo and add it to a signature down at the bottom of your posts.

    But when I try to add the photo, the default ones that are shown in that thread are too large and return with an error.

    Am I just confused about where to add that to my forum profile?

    Maybe you are trying to add it as an avatar instead of a signature?

    Also, instead of saving and uploading, just copy the picture url and put it in the sig like you would post a picture normally. If you try uploading the transparent background doesn't work correctly.

    Yeah, your signature should be a link such as

    and you use the tags to make it an image.

    Thanks Taake & Skwisgaar. I was trying to "upload" the image rather than just linking to its current location

    I did the exact same thing. Glad I'm not the only one to fall for that.
