Hey peeps, I wanted to create this thread for an online tabletop convention I have been working with. It will be updated as major events get added, new guests, new games, etc. Currently, there is a lot to list, but among the key items: Panels: Paizo (Pathfinder) will be there in several panels Catalyst (Shadowrun) will be doing the same We are working on Monte Cook, Tracy Hickman, and a few other big names, but with GenCon this week, no answers at the moment. Gaming: Pathfinder Tournament Shadowrun Tournament, run entirely by Catalyst Call of Cthulhu Tournament Lots of open gaming, currently recruiting GMs to run whatever they want (Players will be signing up later) Vendors: Various vendors will be talking to players at their own panels and running game demos, this list is far from complete but (not all will be doing everything): 3 Waters Clockwork Gnome Publishing Immersion Studios Obatron Productions Paizo Catalyst Magpie Games Torn World D3 Adventures Storyweaver Gramel Publications Fainting Goat Games Unigames Broken Ruler The Unhallowed (horror Pathfinder) for starters 8) Prize Support: Prizes for signing up to GM events (awarded upon attendance) Prizes for downloading the Convention Program (when done) Prizes for participating as a GM or Player (awarded after con verification) Tournament Prizes Prizes for being in the chat rooms (drawings) If you are interested, ask me. Or check out www.aethercon.com
BTW guys, I was involved in a podcast yesterday discussing Aethercon. It was a lot of fun, if you are interested in gaming in general or Aethercon specifically. We talk about Roll20, Infrno, etc as well. http://http://www.guysgamesandbeer.net/2013/08/g2b-ep-69-dont-get-your-panties-in-bunch.html It isn't terribly crude, but might not be perfectly safe for work and definitely not for kids 8)
damn could have so much fun with this, I just wish I could reliably have any specific days off any time in the near future I really want to run/play in a Dresden world setting XD
