Took my kids to see it and it's not a Disney movie, no way. Spoiler: Big spoilers - The immigrants are the bad guys - The immigrants initially say there's only two of them and they pretend to be nice - The very arrival of immigrants involves a crime and an attack against the hero, which everyone ignores because no one likes the hero - More and more immigrants show up - The leader of the birds doesn't allow any suspicion towards the immigrants - The immigrants start behaving very badly and causing trouble - Leader insists they're nice - Everyone welcomes all the immigrants - It's all a scheme, the immigrants blow everything up with explosives and escape with the eggs - The angry people from anger management are the good guys - The hero sees through the immigrants due to his natural hostility to everyone and everything - The solution to problems is an attack and abandonment of tolerance and being nice - Violence is the answer - The heroic gang are essentially criminals going through anger management - The hero is an orphan - The hero is discriminated against from childhood for being an orphan - The hero becomes aggressive as a result of discrimination and is discriminated further for being angry - The hero doesn't really conquer his aggressiveness but rather finds friends with similar issues (criminals) - One of the characters uses a mild but real curse word after hitting his head But aside from reading too much into it and taking it as just innocent fun the kids loved it and laughed through the movie. I also thought it was a pretty fun animation film.
really really angry... reminds me of one of encino mans speeches in Generation Kill. Its a awesome mini series. If you like Band of Brothers, you should watch generation kill. Same quality but of recon Marines, when the US went into iraq to over throw saddam. Based on the novel of a in-bedded journalist from the rolling stones. and yes this guy was incompetent as fuck. heres a trailer
Oh yea Generation Kill, that was a really good show. Everyone didn't automatically develop PTSD* as is part of Hollywood canon and so. *Spoken to some veterans who find that really, really offensive towards them and note that it promotes an image that all the veterans have mental problems and are constantly half a second away from exploding violently in a society where veterans are already discriminated against and merely adds to discrimination.
