So earlier today I've all of a sudden gotten trouble getting in to games. Most times I end up crashing back to mechlab when it tries to load a match. Seeing how I've been able to play up to now without any problems I don't think it's related to the last, rather unstable, patch. Launching to testing grounds have worked flawlessly but I've also at connection timed out a couple of times when trying to just log in to the game. I'm starting to think something is up with the connection between me and the mwo servers. I've also been getting connection time outs when on their forums at times, but besides that my internet seems to work fine. So, do we have any Swedes here that use Bredbandsbolaget with similar problems? Curious if it's just me or if it can be ISP related.
Well I've had connection problems for the better part of 4 months now, ever since I moved to a new apartment. Although I have Telia and not BBB as my internet provider, they provided me with a Thompson router which is the definition of hell.
Fridays hotfix made the game totally unstable for me until I did a clean reinstall, that improved it for a few matches so far. many people complaining bad games, disconnects etc... I think it is MWO. I am in the states... a lot here are having problems too
Yes I know that people have been having problems after the patch, but I was able to play just fine both Friday and Saturday morning. It was around noon this problem started occurring, with not only dropping from games but also troubles with their forums and even logging in to the the game. That's the reason I belive it's my connection and not just the game being unstable in general.
It seems like what ever caused this problem is now fixed, 10 games in a row without any problem at all. Yesterday I couldn't even get two games in a row. So yay \o/
