Ok, so I have a question. I've never done pvp in an mmorpg. What's the best/most efficient way to activate skills on an opponent while moving?

Have a mouse with more than 4 buttons. Failing that, have really flexible fingers.

Tab to target, and bind your most used and reactionary skills to hotkeys around your WASD keys. (I use 1, 2, 3, Q, E, F, C, etc.) And/or yeah, mo' mouse buttons. To get good at it, first memorize your keybinds and rotations on PvE mobs so when you're pvping, you can react intuitively/subconsciously to what your opponent is doing. To get even better, once you've got your own skills figured out, start to learn what your opponents are going to do so you can predict their actions.

Don't forget secondaries on the 2nd bar: shift1-6 (7,8,9 are too much of a stretch) and shift-q, etc.

I do miss Rift's reaction buttons though. This game would benefit hugely from that system.

We got another farm cart up and running! Looks like there is a good safe run from two crowns (dried flowers and pomegranate) if we dont want to risk the mead. 16 gold run each if we double up.

Sweet! You finally got a thunderstruck tree? If so do you have some extra logs you would be willing to sell?

Ah no, I assumed you got a tree. If you do get a tree and are willing to sell some of the logs, several people might be able to get carts.

So pine does have the highest chance, but it is larger, so you cannot grow as many. There is another thread that breaks down everything on pine vs ceder and basically says that ceder over time has a higher chance.
