I've watched some video's, I'm shortly going to be taking classes in the arma flight school, http://www.armaflightschool.com/ . I am not the best pilot in any way, I've saved a few "shot downs" and I can land without crashing (sometimes) but i keep getting compliments like damn you're good or, thanks very much I hope to see you around. Mostly it's with transporting people from point A to point B, but last night I did an underfire exfil, it was scarry, but i got them out, had to repair after. I don't see why people seem to be amazed, I'm just either auto hovering, or "air plane landing / taking off"
there are a lot of wannabe pilots in arma, a competent pilot gives quite a bit of confidence for passengers. The arma flight school looks awesome, I am going to have to give it a try!! A friend had talked to me about doing this sort of work a couple of years ago but our day jobs in aviation kept us from ever doing it. I'm glad that someone has taken the time to develop a training program and offered it to the community!
As MH said. Lots of wannabe pilots that have no idea what they are doing. When it comes to helicopters in Arma i can always recommend Dslyecxi's Art of Flight
Thats a good video to watch I've been listining to king scuba. I really like how his comment section has the time code on when his things start, so you can see specific parts.
The art of flight series is the best put together that I've seen yet on helicopter flying in arma, I'm going to have to sit down and take a look at scuba's again, I remember some from his first video series but that was ages ago
