You shouldve seen the match blue was setting us up with before Magnus saved us with his epic gm skillz, twice our cost, double our tonnage, 3 assault mechs. We were to spawn on the opposite side of them from our retreat vector.... ON PAVEMENT!
Really fun match. Crave went YOLOGTA! and tried to go and stab pilot of one of those Griffins. Good plan until the pilot woke up Crave got the ride of his life. Good thing David and me told the enemy pilots to chill the fuck out and surrender.
was trying a new game option with the bot. still working out a few kinks. it won't always be that easy (note to self: bot sucks on ice). testing it with Gamma as well and they are in for a tough fight. Actually.. if we roleplayed it, it likely would have gone more "hey... surrender or our buddy Crave is going to throw a grenade in there with you." I think that is a very convincing argument ----- UPDATE: In hindsight, I actually think I fucked up the BV for princess. was suppose to have an additional +20% BV for the bot. instead I think I only added +10%. next time, beta lance... next time *shakes claw hand*

Yeah, because Banshee, Zeus and Atlas versus Panther, Rifleman and Grand Dragon on that atrocity of a map would have been totally fine, right? *snicker* That just showed why BV doesn't always work. I definitely would have loved to make minced meat out of Beta lance though. No hard feelings. Anyways, I wash my hands from that incident. I was there just to play the OpFor and nothing else. The proper drop was good even though the the bot was an A-class derp. Thanks to Magnus for lulz.
let's not be too harsh on blue now. thank you blue for helping to get things set up. the ice bridge map was no ones fault but the damn original creator (i download it in a map pack from some website awhile back)... and even then, i believe the map was made long before a snow tileset was even available in megamek... at least that is the only logical explanation i have for choosing pavement for a "snow" map. i have been slowly converting many of these broken maps to something more sensible, but simply haven't gotten to the ice bridge yet (because you are all needy bastards slowly sucking the life out of me)
