How many of you did this?

I remember waiting in line for 2 hours to play, then 2 more to do it again!.

Notice at 4:35 Jordan Weisman, who was one of the two that helped develop the system.

    And for those having trouble:

i think the closest ones to me was in London at the Trocadero center (together with the Alien tour) so not exactly commuter distance(my family lived in central Sweden) . Never got to play in but i did visit the battle centre and watched some fight while on a family vacation once.

Still i'd love to see these come back with modern tech and all the bells and whistles.

ah yes, this is where I fell in love with the six SRM-6 Vulture, and coined the term 'wall o' missiles' (at least for me :p) I believe I had my sixteenth birthday party at the one in Houston. I would love to see them reinvigorate this system, imagine adding not only the modern graphics, but full motion simulation, so when your mech walks, you -feel- it, when you get slammed in the torso by a guass slug flying at sub-c velocity you're grabbing the seat just to hold on ;)

Made it down to the one in Walnut Creek, CA once while I was in college.

There's whole websites devoted to the guys who still have the units up and running.

Damn. That looks so fun. I remember an arcade that used to be in town that had a mech game with co-op function. Dont ask the name i seriously cant remember a single game from 8 years ago. Swivel chair, Good graphics, twin joystick, foot pedals, 20 buttons, throttle. I spent like 6 hours a day wasting up to $50 each time i visited that arcade.
