as if we weren't expecting yet another game in the series, but that isn't whats really important. Activision has gone and set a new standard for "premium" editions of games. While monocles and $500 virtual golden mechs might be how some publishers roll, not these guys. Its so simple its beautiful, you by the Special Edition and you get a mini fridge. Yes you read that right, you pay $290 for the game and they give you a mini fridge. I have not been a CoD fan in ages but dang I have to say that is how you reward your whales!!! From GameSpot
Electro-thermal (thermoelectric) fridges aren't that great. they rely way to much on the room temperature being in the low 70s to actually function correctly.
So. You can supply your mountain dew/mellow yellow/red bull fueled sedentary lifestyle of playing shitty games! All that ragequit teenage angst 720 no scope will ensure the rooms temp stays at least 70 degrees.
isn't this in the wrong forum? Or is this simply a miscellaneous jab at some of the rediculousness of special editions. Honestly, getting a themed mini fridge is probably the most potentially useful thing I've seen in a collectors edition set to date, though the cool carry box from Borderlands 2 is a close second
Its a jab at all developers who offer only electronic content in their games for the extra money for dlc and special editions be it warthunder, mwo,sc,battlefield, forza,orEVE. Its a hats off to all those that do offer something tangible while also showing that its one upmanship at its finest! Off topic is right where this belongs with this group. Let's face it, we were going to be really disappointed if there wasn't a reference to spinning and no scoping right off the bat.
