What are your thoughts on Kindle Paperwhite 3G vs Nook Simple Touch with Glow Light

I want one of the fancy glowy ones as I'll inevitably be reading in low light conditions a lot.

I ended up reading the BT books on iPhone. Readable and the devices screen seems to adapt to lighting conditions really well.

iPad mini was better, but wife snatched that for her usage. I also considered the Kindle, but with these available I don't anymore...

I don't have an Android or Iphone. I also do not wish to spend long periods of time reading from an LCD display of any form, I wish to read off of e-ink.

Alright sold now. Faster loading, better and more intuitive functionality, better display and even lighting... Amazon wins.

Seriously? Capitalism: We make it hard for you to buy things so we can sue you for acquiring them. Stupid.

I have the kindle, love it, works great much better than the old ones. It is nice to be able to adjust the back light so I can read at night. Battery last a long time as well.

I have the kindle fire. It is colour and very crisp and I think once the brightness is sorted, it is very eye friendly, certainly more eye friendly than this laptop is.

Only complaint is that I can't work it properly yet, I wish it had a button like an iphone and it doesn't seem very fast at what it does.

E ink type Kindles are very clever mind, and the display is beautiful to read.

    If you aren't sold yet...

Does the Kindle offer expandability with microSD cards now? Cause that's why I got my first gen Nook over a first gen Kindle back in the day.

Don't think so, but I think I can cope with 1000 books worth on the device and the rest in a micro sd card in my wallet that can be utilised when at a pc. Naturally, I'd prefer to have the kindle white WITH expandability, but nvm.

Oh, well, I put music on my Nook when I had it, so I could listen while reading.
