Is the economy update turned on your server? I think it can be applied to Old Worlds but I'm really not sure. We haven't really explored around the solar system since the update came out. We've had some serious ship disaster that had us tied up, but if you really excited to try out the contracts for something to do. Also, I think adding back the more NPC encounters as soon as you think its stable would be great
Thanks for your help Magnus, new economy update it is working properly on the server. We found Trader stations after two jumps or so. Hauling contracts were was kind of disappointing actually I thought that you have to load up with cargo transport it and drop it off but basically you just get a piece of paper that says you have the cargo and deposit it into the contract block at the destination trader station. Sort of a letdown after I built a huge cargo ship thinking I'd be hauling actual ore from place to place. Hopefully the community will step up and make a with realism cargo hauling mod.
