    As I understand it the Nids will be used as NPC forces for PvE and campaign balance. If one side starts rolling over the other the nids start popping up behind their lines.

    Too bad there's no Crimson Slaughter or Thousand Sons. They have some pretty iconic looks.

    Looks like they've generally avoided any units affiliated to a single chaos god, though - the Emperor's Children, the World Eaters, and Death Guard aren't in either.

    Really confused as to why they made tyranids mindless npc slaughter drones..

    guess ill be waiting till Tau or nids are finally playable.

    maybe its because I'm partial to tau and nids since I play them.

    I just cant stand any of the current playable races.


    you know how it is.. once you commit to a faction, just something about the hate and discontent for the others.

    Perhaps because nids dont have individual will.

    Alpha is only marines, normal and chaos. Launch races are to be marines, ork an eldar. with more to follow.

    Want to play Tau get in on dark nexus.

    That does seem to better suit a NPC faction, as opposed to having a PUGs of players running all over the place.

    Synapse creatures have individual will in carrying out the task the hive mind gives them along with giving those orders to the nids under them as a form of mental conduit.

    Yeah, but a hive tyrant or even a warrior isn't exactly on par with an individual marine or ork. Character parity is important. Same kind of applies to a tau battle suit

    I don't really see the difference though..

    It's not like the emperors children and ultramarines are having a tea party in the middle of a field.


    There is only, kill the other side..


    The nids just want to eat the other side.


    Necrons should be really interesting in regards to fairness then.

    Wow, I did some background reading and HOLY CRAP DO SPACE MARINE PRIMARCHS HAVE LOADS OF DADDY ISSUES!

    I mean sweet machine-Jesus, I know they need some of their special implants to make psykker space god man babies, but is every one of the nine some form of a uterus?
