I don't want to suggest or make a requirement that we all wear the same faction's uniforms but we should probably agree to try and coordinate somewhat so we don't shoot each other. Here's a poll - please vote for which unis you'd like to see the BORG group use. Again this won't be a hard rule but just a suggestion for when people are building loadouts.
I like the CTRG stuff. No one that actually appears in the game uses it, and the flat grey makes it easy to ID at a distance.
I tend to agree. I had just changed over to AAF to get that GA Carrier GL Rig but I was running CTRG before that and there is a heavy armor rig that matches up pretty well with it.
I do like the CTRG look too, but I think it also behooves us to choose something that matches the force we're going to drop under, for the Wasteland server anyway. Wouldn't do to all pick CSAT or something, then realize that because we drop Independent, we don't get access to those unis... TL;DR - I vote CTRG, but is it available for Independent?
Wet suites for everyone! Also not too too important for wasleand as everyone gets a hex on them in the group.
I'm thinking more for home missions where we can choose our loadouts as opposed to Wasteland or survival-type servers where you use whatever you can get your hands on.
I've always looked like a guerrilla since we started. It's been a bit of an "official" uniform for about as long as I can remember us playing, granted we did kinda draw the line with one of the insurgency uniform mods as being a bit over the top Even by our standards.
True. I really like the looks of the Kerry Worn Fatigues best but I also like the extra armor that the military uniforms give.
It doesn't matter at all on wasteland since you can't access the VA. I'm good with CTRG and guerrilla. CSAT uniforms will get you shot pretty quickly and NATO will either do the same or make you blend into the NPCs. I'm assuming snipers will be allowed to use whichever ghille suit fits the terrain for the mission since there isn't a guerrilla option? I know the AI doesn't care at a certain range, but it feels silly to not be in a ghille suit while sniping.
Seem most votes went to CTRG with a 2 way tie for 2nd. Again, this is only a suggestion, but let's try to use CTRG for military fatigues or go with independent/guerrilla if you don't want to use fatigues.
