hmm, no secrets here, but here is my list of the 2 most likely to be mafia; VorBan Ghizmo Your right, as soon as i breathe the slightest hint as to who I suspect, one of them two says a name then votes then we find that person was innocent, I voted also, had to vote... to not vote someone is to lose. while both of them make a huge pretense about the sanctity of life and how we must be certain before acting they seem to be the first to act as to saying a name or voting. I am like vargyr only that I am a good guy. Which after y'all lynch me you will find out. I am uncertain about Tuonela, he may be a bad guy, but maybe not, yes I am thinking aloud ;p I have a feeling Conlaoch is ok, just impulsive and quick to follow someone else's lead... I think Tarkfu is a good guy. I could be wrong but before I die I want this info out there, I am not going take anything to my grave that could save us. I vote.. ##vote; Ghizmo
I wish I had better information, and that I could make a more informed decision. Abivard, if you are not a murder.. then you are certainly helping them. VOTE:Abivard
ok, I am dead, but that confirms to me that ghizmo and vorban are mafia..This is now down to the wire as to town vs mafia win.. after I am lynched they should have 2 and town 3, they will murder one of the three, tark or tuon is my guess, then they will out vote or tie, which will lead to next night killing which should win the mafia the game....
Well, at this point in the game, I think that not to act would be the worst possible move. We have to do something to progress toward finding the killer, therefore.... ##VOTE Abivard
End Day 3! Welp, he's the most suspicious of the lot, you all agree. He's done nothing but point fingers all game, so here's where you get to 'cut them off' so to speak. Finding nothing more than a few bar stools, you decide to end it as quickly (and violently) as possible - with a good ol' fashioned bar stool beatdown. Abviard screams his innocence, but they fall on death ears. Eventually those screams stop too; good thing, you think your ears are bleeding. As you journey up the stairs, patting each other on the back, you decide now would be a good time to rifle through Abivard's stuff. Gihzmo grabs his backpack with Tuna and Vorban looking over his shoulders to see what's inside....but...you don't find anything. Nothing aside from a few provisions. Not even an ID card! Who the hell is this guy? Abivard, the 3rd party ????? has been killed! Suddenly, there's a noise behind you, and without warning Gihzmo drops like a rock. Before Tuna and Vorban can react, a decorative Shield and Axe come slamming down on their heads, knocking them out if not outright killing them anyways. Tarkfu sighs and turns to his partner Con, who is in the midst of delievering death blows to each of their heads. "Really Con, is that really necessary?" Con shrugs, "Eh, they're vikings, they should go out like vikings." Tarkfu nods, "Well, one things for sure...the Draks will pick us up no problem." Conloach grimly acknowledges, "yeah, we'll get that info and sabotage those Draks pretty good once we get in, but was it worth this?" Tarkfu doesn't respond, but as he eye's the gore he asks a simple question. "So what really happened to all the mead?" END GAME With only 4 players left (Mafia achieving a guaranteed kill during the night phase and controlling the vote-count) the Mafia have won the Game! More details to follow in the morning, bur for now, thanks for playing!
Ugh. This is why I wanted to at least know how many players were evil... There were more than I expected so
I was actually suprised... But then again I am a little bit retarded. Did anyone see this coming? Well except the mafia ?
I thought Tuonela was on to us, but apparently no one else thought we were being suspicious. We largely sat back and did very little to subtly guide the votes as much as we felt necessary. We also got lucky with some key Townies going down quick.
Well, the game could've still gone for a round, since technically we could've split the vote and then I could've saved someone with me magical powers. Damn magic powers, should've used 'em earlier. As for Con and Tark, I wasn't on to you per se, Vorban seemed definitely not guilty, Gizhmo was on the fence. I assumed the people killing people off would probably stay in the scenery and not make a huge scene unless accused. My main screw up for the game was not realizing how few people we had left and what the ratio of people was. But technically, wouldn't the game have ended yesterday? If we actually axed a mafia then, and we're still in this position, we had no hope of winning once the two inactives got axed...
It seems to me the mafia does not have to do anything and can win pretty easily. Just sit back and throw a vote in once in a while. Seems like a vertical climb for the town without any real information...
Funny you should mention that gihz, because the opposite is generally the case. It requires a lot of luck to win as the mafia, as all it takes is a few good role decisions on the townies part to wipe them out. Unfortunately, due to numbers and lack of participation, the townies really had an uphill climb this time around
I think it depends more on your POV and what do you personnaly think the mafia will do. Either they're going to be aggresive or passive. This time I assumed they would be agressive in covering their trails and standard psychology which concerns a bigger group of people states that everyone will try to blend in and divide the responsibility among themselves( in this case voting for the first guy accused and deviding the guilt among themselves in case they lynch an innocent townie). But that is just how I see it. Still for a first game and considering all the hickups I think it went rather well.
