I don't know what is and is not possible, being a peon, but I thought of some new things to track for trophy points. Number of times quoted! Points - Name of Trophy - Requirements 2 - What You Said - Be quoted once by someone. 5 - Quoted For Truth - You've been in a few conversations, and have beeen quoted 15 times. 15 - Inspirational Conversationalist - 50 times you've inspired someone to quote you. 30 - The Bard - You've been quoted 250 times! People really pay attention to you when you post.
I will be honest that I'm not sure we can specifically track that or not for awards. Everything we have currently are left over as part of the forum software defaults Chris went with in setting up the new forum. Originally it was looked at dropping them altogether but there might have been a decision to leave them that I forgot about. At first I was thinking what do we need even more score/awards for, but with being a multi gaming org that stresses some activity and with our only metric to view that is forum activity, the awards for things like that on the forum might not be a bad idea at all. I will try to read up on it and see what can be done.
Ok! I suspected this might be a difficult thing to track. But worst case situation we can't do it, so I figured I'd suggest it anyways and see where it goes.
Dug around some tonight and it doesn't look like there is a way I can find to do it. The xenforo page on trophies here refers you to the criteria page here but quotes aren't given as one of the stats to be tracked. When poking around in the custom user field criteria section there wasn't anything outside of the things we have set up such as which Ætt a member is in or what games they are playing. The only way I can see it working in our current build of the forum software would be to create a custom user deal tracking number of quotes but I don't think that the forum software tracks that other than to send notifications if selected in the user options or at least it doesn't track it in a way we can set in the custom user field criteria.
