So the GPU is a slightly underclocked 7870 desktop card...which seems amazingly good for a laptop. That's supposed to be really close in specs to what will be on the PS4 (and probably better than the Xbone), which means you will probably be able to play even games which were designed for the next gen consoles for at least a few years. Is the gpu soldered on like the one in my old Toshiba gaming laptop? That effectively prevents future hardware upgrades.

Even so, I would probably go for a desktop with that kind of money. You definitely get more bang for your buck, and it's upgradeable in the future.

I got a Gaming Desk top that is top notch, I also need something more mobile, 1st world problems....

I Think the GPU is a dedicated not intergrated so i can change it but not much point in upgrading laptops.

Generally, even if it got a discrete gpu, you won't be able to upgrade it easily or at all. Laptop gpus are not the same plug and play as desktops.

A quick glance told me that it looked reasonably nice. I'm not that knowledgeable about the amd cards though. When home tonight I can take a closer look.
