Obviously, my primary goal is continued progress towards finishing nursing school, getting my RN license, and making fuck tons of money. That takes precedence before everything else. My final semester starts Jan. 8th and although my school schedule will still be fairly busy, the majority of it is online and will allow me more flexibility in my schedule. With that in mind, here's a list of things I would like to plan for the Skjaldborg: Host another Stellaris campaign before Christmas. The last one was fun. I am off for the next three weeks. Plenty of time to do another one. If you want to be involved, please post your faction here. Relaunch our Steel Division persistent campaign for early 2018. I was just too busy last semester to continue this, but would really like to try this again. The game now includes coop modes that should fit our needs very nicely. Also, the game finally added M18 Hellcats.... which is really the only excuse I need to want to play more. Support community involvement for Star Citizen 3.0 (release coming soon) We aren't completely sure just how much of a "full game" experience we will get with 3.0, but if there is anything there worth our time and continued involvement, I will be a part of that. Support community involvement for Warframe. This is one of the best examples of a F2P game done right and it continues to only get better. Looking forward to what 2018 brings for it. Discuss and develop plans for a return to Ark: Survival Evolved. I had such grand plans for our server with this game, but sadly school got in the way before I could achieve them. I have not abandoned the idea, however. I intend to make good on my promise of it not being a "flavor of the month" game. It has seen continual updates and improvements and I would very much like to hear your suggestions and expectations for our next game. Ark is highly moddable so there is a lot that we can do under the hood with the server to improve upon the vanilla experience. There is also the Ragnarok map that should be reaching final development soon. Ragnarok will require that we reached "ascended" to play it, but I have very interesting ideas to achieve that; more on that later. Design and host a Battletech/Mechwarrior 5 persistent campaign. Now granted, the new Battletech game for PC and MW5 are still a ways off from release. That being said, I believe it will be possible to tie in a metagaming experience using these games combined with Roll20 to develop a persistent campaign of sorts. We tried to do this with MWO before, but we ran into a lot of limitations. These new games coming out, however, hold a lot of promise (including Coop for MW5) so I am hopeful there is something unique we can work with there. Again, see my previously mentioned Steel Division campaign for ideas on how this will work. Revive and continue our Battletech/Megamek campaign. We ended (for now) our previous campaign at 3049. This was intentional so that when we return to it we can start right at the beginning of the Clan Invasion. But for now, we are focusing in a different direction... something totally fresh. The next campaign is called "33XX: The Corporate Century". No, that's not a typo. It's actually set 200 years ahead of any established canon. The idea was to allow more flexibility in creating a truly unique experience. To put it very simply, the general theme will be a what-if scenario where "cyberpunk dystopia meets Battletech". Some themes and ideas from Bladerunner and Ghost in the Shell will be covered. It should offer some really interesting new ideas for old and new players alike... and yes, the new campaign will be VERY friendly for new players. If you have never played before, but want to try, THIS will be the time.
