    Hello!

Has leadership considered booting very inactive players and dropping the clan size in order to reduce the Hema research cost? We have something like 1500 of the 50,000 mutagen samples we need, and I have heard that you can expect approx 250 samples per player or 1k samples total per run if all are clan players, from a 30 minute ODD run with Nekros, Hydroid, and Banshee with Resonance. That's approximately 30-40 hours of work at the current clan tier for four players, which doesn't look good with the average number of active players in the past few months.

holy shit, skud! didn't even know you were still around dude!

it's a reasonable request. have to ask laucivol and hunter about it. i'm not really certain who is running the show right now.

That would be me, mostly.. and it's not just four people xd.. it's just a huuuge number.

That said two things: DE during the last Devstream indicated the intent to increase the returns to compensate. Secondly, according to the aforementioned Devstream, they do not intend the future clan EQ costs to continue at that rate.

That said, however, size reduction is certainly something that is - and had been - in due consideration.

Edit: Fixed my little brain spasm there.

Invite me back to clan when you can, Laucivol. I can dump my 3k samples to get it at least started.
The number of samples needed is rather high indeed.

I'm honestly shocked at how many samples they're asking for, given how frequently they drop. I mean, I did make a ton of mutagen mass simply because I had nothing better to do with the samples, but I'd still expect to have a plethora, seeing as how I had nothing better to do with the samples :p

I apologize for the delay on this, got really busy RL - that said I will be purging the roster Monday down to the proper clan size. I don't believe this will save us for the event, but scudmud you are correct, this needs to be fixed.

honestly I'm surprised they haven't retroactively reduced this, it's an absurd amount for that specific resource.

Well, this event is a sort of make up - the npcs drop the resource in question in spades.
