OFFICIAL HOW TO POST EVENTS *CORRECTLY*

    A quick guide for creating Skjaldborg event notices so that they display correctly on our forums:
    1. First ask yourself if this event has a specific date in mind or if its a general "announcement".
      If it is only a general announcement, do not proceed here and just post it in the "Announcements & Events" subforum like a normal thread.
      If this has specific date(s) in mind, proceed to the next step.
    2. Go to very top of forum page.
    3. Click "Events" button on navigation bar (the one directly below the "B" of the Skjaldborg page head).
      NOTICE: It is recommended that you open a new tab so you can still reference this guide.
    4. Click "Post New Event" (to the left of your Avatar pic).
    5. Create your event name.
    6. Select a venue (ex. "Online" or "Discord").
    7. Set start time (duration/end time is less important; feel free to leave it at default).
    8. DON'T click "Save Event" yet.
    9. Avoid using "Recur This Event" option unless you are 100% certain this is needed.
    10. Select if this should be an RSVP event or not.
    11. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS TOGGLE ON "Create Event Thread - Announcements & Events".
    12. Finally unless your name is Dihm or you are a Jarl, your post WILL BE DELETED if it has the Official tag on it.
