What do we do here. We went to pier 39, walked around, going to take an electric bike ride across the bridge and a ferry back. The Aquarium, next, then... What?
well... when two people love each other very.. very much.. they like to do certain things, alone..together.. that may look like wrestling. so with that being said.. ask locals or search for family owned restaurants. they have some good bakeries and seafood places. look for antique stores. museum of some sort, art galleries, find a theater and go watch a play or ballet, nutcracker is popular right now but might not be showing until another week or so.
I don't know. Given time, I could see it stabilizing its economy. It has quite a bit of farm land. With access to cheap labor, south of the border. Oh, and it is home of Silicon Valley. A little immigration and tax reform would go a long way. Yeah it will probably fail.
Yeah but they used all their drinking water. also they do not have their own power grid like texas does. and i don't know if they generate enough for their population (probably not is my guess). and if not can they produce enough in a short enough time after seceding?
It doesnt say if all the power comes from plants in california. fossil fuel plants, renewables and so on.
Twin Peaks, china town, haight ashbury for hippies (if there are any left), museums, alcatraz!!!, the presidio, um, things. Although actually going up the hills after the golden gate to get a view of the city is cool, not sure you can do those with the bikes. There are old military gun emplacements up there too that you can look at.
Apparently a little over 150×150 miles of solar panels can produce enough power for the world. The tech is there it's just a race against time.
And funding/labor to build the things. southern cal does have have good solar exposure. its also do they want to give the real estate. and idiots who think solar panels steal suns energy from plants (they exist)
or live in a state where living on solar energy either partially or fully off the grid is illegal. wheres our status report..
