planning to check it out tonight. haven't been keeping up with it since the first vids i saw of it were with those shark alien things which i thought was hilarious but had no interest in shooting looks like they've got a great atmostphere and potential for high immersion factor so thats a couple big pro's from my checklist...
My impression of Interstellar Marines was that it was uninspired, lazy, and generally did not one single thing to separate itself from any other shooter on the market. My multiplayer experience was a group of people wandering through pitch black corridors flicking their flashlights on and off and spraying targets that were generally no more than about 10 feet away. I quit after an hour an never looked back.
this was kind of the impression i got from watching videos... never played it though. maybe it has improved since then.
