What keyboard are you using and is it any good?
I need to change my current piece of s**t to something better, planning to buy Logitechs G105.
    Any opinions about that?

What kind of switches do you want? If you are looking for mechanical I can recommend the qpad mk-50 or mk-85 if you are looking to spend more =).

Layout is not important, as i dont use Macros that much, i just need better keyboard without batterys and could get that G105 cheap (about 40€)

The g105 uses as far as I can see rubber dome switches, which I personally cannot stand and wouldn't really advertise as gaming keyboard since one of those really should have the heigtened precision given by mechanical switches IMHO.

I've been using the Logitech G110. It's a very nice mechanical keyboard, very smooth, responsive. I highly recommend it.

I use the same keyboard. I never really have much call for the macro buttons during gaming (I tend to use them as text macros) but the response is good, the parts reliable, and the keyboard lights up. Which let's face it - the reason I bought it anyway :)

The volume rocker is a fantastic feature that works better than one the ones on my old Dell keyboards.

Sorry but I don't think the g110 has mechanical switches, all google result claim polydome/rubber dome switches. That said, I know that not all mind those. I just personally vastly prefer mechanical, and currently the red cherry switches of for example the mk-50 or if you want backlighting one of the higher end keyboards.

Das Keyboard looks pretty swank... just wish it wasn't $135 for the Model S.

    Also, no wrist rest, boo!

I have a G15, it's meh. Functional. Never use the LCD screen or the macro buttons.

Well that's the reason I went with the mk-50 it's got mech switches but not so much swag so it's not that expensive, you're just paying for the switches.

IMO a wrist rest is essential.

Have a blackwiddow Razer mechanical keyboard and i love it. Will never go back to non mechanical keyboards. Makes typing so much easier.

I would be really happy if my new keyboard had cord & lights init.
Too much annoyance factor with batterys that i have to change too often...

    My shopping list includes:

    -Keyboard
    -Mouse
    -JOYstick

So i could get all 3 of those if i dont get mechanical keyboard.
