Because of the fact that CW matches are totally different to normal matches I retire my first post of having 24 kills for CW-Ace - I like the suggestion of 18 or we could even go down 15 - we already had some really nice matches on CW but in CW it depends more than in normal matches to the role you get in - so hell - my best on CW was so far 8 or something like that - and even I did highest damage in one of the matches I only got 3 kills in this one (more than 1400 dmg) - so it will become really really difficult to get doubledigit kills or even 24 seems to be pretty mutch hard to me -

BUT I wuld not count a CW-7 kills as normal ACE - THIS should stay in normal matches and there you have to get your 6 - this is really doable

 

Personally for the CW matches I think it would be better for match score rather than kills, as match score includes turret kills/objectives and what not.

 

If Cerlins suggestion will come to a result and he suggested to get the Ace for CW on matchscore more than 300 - you and me will already got this - probably a matchscore more than 400 should give the Legendary to you as well - awesome matches - really awesome

The first one should not be impossible. this was the idea behind the 300 points (i should know, i mentioned it to cerlin ) is just the CW Ace (lots of us have aces) those shouldn't be -too- hard. a 400 plus score is much more like getting 9 kills in a match. that's pretty legendary. A score of 400 is also really legendary. The 300, much like the 6 kills is there to show you have a very solid grasp on the game mode, you did above and beyond you part in the match, and you obviously work well with others. 400 is the legendary version of this. (ive seen a couple 350 score matches....just as I have seen a whole lot of 7-8 kill matches. Not too many 9 kill/400 point matches.

 

Sorry mate - I thought Cerlin was the one with the suggestion - but yeah 300 for Ace and 400 for Legendary seems to work well

 

no worries Yami, I had originally sent Trev a PM with the Idea then started filtering it out to players to see what they thought. I tried to be...not stealthy but no on anyone's ribbon toes, I know they get a little squiffy when we start talkin about adding Ribbons. They can really start to clutter the screen up somewhere around...

Bringing back the original assists ribbons? Now that they can be tracked with the achievements?

 

Any reason we couldn't make new ribbons for CW high scores/assists/something? I feel they are very different accomplishments but cool in their own right. The only issue I have with match score is that it is mostly based of damage and assists and is against the spirit of the killer prize, so not a legendary or ace kinda thing.

 

Then give the children another name

 

We did have those ribbons for exceptional service against faction X way back in 2012 when nobody knew what CW was going to be like. Maybe we can use those, say you get a 300 point game against the Ghost Bears for example, then you get the corresponding ribbon, could maybe call it Bearslayer or something. If you do a 300 point game against the Steiners you get the ribbon for that faction, we could maybe call it Knucklebreaker. The art should already be there, it is just a matter of finding cool names for each of the faction ribbons. We could still keep the Drakbane award and award it for being integral in taking a great many planets from the Draconis Combine and putting the SoR flag on them, just my ideas.
