My highest currently is a 60 captain and I am exited about mounted combat in riders of rohan (nowhere near as excited as for MWO of course. LOTRO may die once MWO comes out)
I played that for about two years after it came out, until my guild died, it was quite fun, but I've never been able to get back into it.
Yeah, I actually purchased the lifetime sub when I preordered, which I more than got my money out of, so I have all the expansions. Well aside from the Rohan expansion. They just kept raising the level cap on me, which takes the ability to do Freep side pvp until you've capped again, which annoyed me. I think my Guardian is like 56, and never made it all the way through Moria. I should explore more as I'm a big fan of the setting and books, but I just couldn't get back into it once our guild unraveled.
I played it when it first came out, aways thought it was a nice looking game and some of the areas was stunning. could not get into though. i kind of went off MMOs after SWG. might give this a other bash
I liked LOTRO the most of the modern MMPORPG <sp> I am also a Tolkien fan which makes me somewhat biased. I hate the whole 20+ raid concept so never really did much of it in LOTRO but liked it better than the other games like WoW or eversucks. I haven't liked any games PvP since Asheron's call, I played that game on Darktide, the all PvP server. I liked those kinds of raids a helluva lot better!
Right now my main is a 68 Captain. What I like most about lotro is you can solo most of it depending on your class.
