Nope not at all. More stating that I, personally, wish the ability to shoot people outright was not in the game at all. It changes how I view this game now and is something I did not expect as I have never played a game of mafia where you could get hidden weapons at all. It also screams to me that there are people who have no doubt played this far more then I have. To me that makes the already uneven playing field of Mafia now filled with landmines as well, as there are no doubt more abilities out there that I don't know about as well. Makes sense to me that if a "townie" can have a gun then the mafia must as well. What happens tomorrow? Does Hylius get another magic bullet to randomly shoot someone else? There are to many unanswered questions now.
Yeah, it's a bit like that. <.< AFAIK, there are two ways this could have happened; 1:Hylius is a vigilante, which would just let him do exactly what he did. Probably just once, but possibly multiple times. (I think someone mentioned something about a mafia equivalent, but i've never seen it so... *shrug*) 2 (More likely):A gunsmith gave it to him last night. Gunsmiths can give a weapon to someone as a night action. I don't know how they work exactly, but the one in the last game had four weapons that each had a slightly different effect, some of them negative to the wielder. I can't remember if the smith or wielder knew which gun(s) they had. Note that it is possible in this situation for a mafioso to have a weapon as well, at some point.

People are jumping on my members who are not in your time zone and have opposite hours for posting, saying they're not involved in the massive amount of posts that you guys put out while they're sleeping. People are jumping on my members who are new at the game so have no fucking clue how it works. Me pointing out that maybe you should back off a bit on that stuff totally makes me scum, even though it was unrelated to the ACTUAL game and reflected neither my belief that they were or were not scum. I don't know I've never seen anything about NOT haunting. I just plan on being roughly as useless as I was.
There's plenty to address. Why are you so defensive of every person? And no, it has nothing to do with timezones. You half-defended Fet, who was posting without content. Orc is in the same boat, yet you also tossed out a possible excuse for him. That's posting without content. One can define it as lurking (though usually done in the "they're watching the thread but not posting" sense). It's a classic scum gambit on their part, and people have every right to call them out on it. Either they're scum or they're town not contributing. Either way, it is not a pro-town thing to do. Yes, I realize some people are new to this and thus a bit hesitant, I was my first game, but that's part of the reasoning for calling them out. It gets them to put their neck on the line, which is how you play town in this game. I'm cutting the quote off right here because this is bullcrap. Affiliation has zip to do with this game. If anything, I'm MORE suspicious of ELP members because they know me and may try to play me if they're scum. To my knowledge the only people to have brought up affiliation at all in this game are, to put it in your words, you and "your members". Now that's an outright lie. Where have I tried to even hint that it's your fault? Show me. I called you out for being suspicious in your half-defenses. Scum do it frequently because they KNOW who is town (or at least, not-scum) and can use it later to say "hey, see, I defended them and they were town. I'm good people." Number one thing I learned in mafia is don't defend other people unless you have solid proof. You can argue against a CASE on someone, but don't defend the person themselves. Besides looking scummy, for all you know the person you're defending is scum. The fact that you call me townie in your post right before voting me is laughable. Also, if you want more information on day vigs/gunsmiths, look at the intro links provided in the signup post. They got the basics there. Though you said you wouldn't listen to me, I'll lay it out for you. 1) Gunsmith is not-scum. Period. Making it scum would be a balance nightmare and there's no way to really work it properly. Theoretically could be a third party but highly doubtful as it would be the oddest win condition ever. 2) Me using a gun does not confirm me as town. I believe HOW I used it does, but maybe I'm scum trying to appear townie and getting an easy kill in? Who knows? Well I do, and I'm town. Whether or not you take my word on it is up to you. PS: Unrelated to the game itself, I am detecting slight hostility here with this whole "my members are being attacked" thing. I don't agree with that and I'm certainly not making an effort to do so, but if you truly believe something is wrong we should probably address it. I've been playing the game eyeing everyone equally but if you feel otherwise is being done please tell me, because that'll just cause problems. I'm just playing the game like I always do, aggressively regardless of my target's name, group, race, etc. etc. Don't take it personally, it's just how I play. What happens in Mafia stays in Mafia.
Fet normally once you're dead you can't post anymore period but that's Damon's call. Some allow spectator posting (i.e. no actual content related to the game) after death.
That's all I was pointing out when I was defending people though. People from ELP SEEMED to be going after our members for not responding, because they were either at work, asleep, or whatever and couldn't. Your guys have all played this game before, probably half (or more) of mine haven't, or have very limited experience. Of course I'm going to defend them when people are bringing in outside of game issues (like the fact that they're in a vastly different time zone so they CAN'T respond during the frenzy of posting). I can't NOT defend my guys in an outside of mafia context. That's all I was trying to do. Also, I was just trying to give you some of that "righteous anger" you thought I'd lost.
